17.01.2022 This summer we were entrusted with the task to preserve an iconic Golden Elm located in Treasury Gardens in Melbourne. Due to some extreme weather, we have experienced this year a neighbouring Elm uprooted falling into it, damaging a section of the crown. To prevent further potential failures both a synthetic brace was installed into the top of the crown (Cobra 4t) and a high tensile screw rod through the major trunks. 10.01.2022 As of this Wednesday, Global Arborist Australia will be stopping routine business as per the requirement of the new Victorian State lockdown rules for the next 6 weeks. We apologise to our clients that had intended work booked for after this date, but it's important that we tackle this problem together. We will be available during this time for Emergency Tree Work Call Out to the metro area. General tree work emergencies include trees fallen over houses, assets and driveway access for emergency purposes. 05.01.2022 Block clearance for an excited first home owner couple. We removed half a dozen dead/hazardous trees. Others were pruned and made into habitat creation. 100% of the material was retained onsite!... A very healthy firewood collection that should see them through for the next couple of seasons. Mulch pile to be spread around the remaining protected trees to help manage their health and vigour while development is undergone. Also large logs were left as stipulated in the council permits for habitat purposes. Big thanks to Laurence O'Toole for helping out. A Grade wood splitter ;) Queries with trees and development?
