23.01.2022 The newly completed 21m mural by the talented Joseph Boin (artbydestroy) was commissioned by Global Cardiology at their flagship premises West Perth. The artwork shows the metamorphosis of a butterfly. The butterfly represents transformation, a concept which parallels the vision of Global Cardiology as transformative health care in the prevention, detection and management of heart disease. There was an original, illegal graffiti along this 21m wall was creatively overlayed an...d assimilated into the new message of growth and transformation. By some coincidence, this previous graffiti was completed by the late colleague of Boin some 14 years ago. Global Cardiology is proud to be supporting local Perth artists in this project.

16.01.2022 Unique to Global Cardiology, our tests are reported by Australian trained cardiologists who have vast local experience as well as training from reputable centres of excellence from across the globe. We provide sub-specialty based reporting for all tests such as echo and stress echo which are reported by echocardiologists with Fellowships in Imaging.

10.01.2022 A fantastic night celebrating the launch of our new flagship premises in West Perth, at which we have a state of the art, dedicated cardiac CT scanner. We had a brilliant turn out of referring GPs and all enjoyed the canaps, drinks and live, smooth jazz provided to celebrate the event. Thank you to our speakers, Dr Rajesh R Kanna, Dr Pavan Chandrala and Prof. Girish Dwivedi who gave informative speeches outlining the uses and advantages of leading edge, dedicated CT scanning technology.

09.01.2022 Global Cardiology are excited to introduce their new, architecturally designed premises on Wellington St, West Perth. This clinic has cardiac scanning technology provided by a state of the art CT scanner, the new Canon Aquilion One Genesis Edition, the first of its kind in WA. The architects, Archetype Design, drew many design cues from this CT scanning machine, not only from the shapes and forms of the machine, but also with the idea of new technology inevitably superimposing the old. From a functional perspective, the key emphasis in the design was the non-clinical, creating a warm and friendly environment, intended to keep patients calm and peaceful. The parallel visions of the owner and the architect have fused in a strong statement of transformation for not only cardiac care but also how medical clinics present.

01.01.2022 At Global Cardiology we offer a coronary calcium scoring risk assessment as part of our cardiac service. Calcium score is based on a quick non-invasive CT scan of heart arteries that calculates the heart disease risk by measuring the amount of calcium disposition in the heart arteries.
