11.01.2022 Skill and knowledge sharing is a key part of our monthly meetings. At our latest meeting, our Climate and Environment Sub-committee talked us through the biggest contributors to carbon emissions, and helped us understand the small changes we can make in our lives that could lead to a big difference in our carbon footprint. Some key takeaways: ... - As this graph by the @theclimatecouncil shows, Australia’s biggest carbon emitting industries are electricity and transport, 2 things that we - as individuals - contribute to. - We recommend the @onesmallstepapp, which calculates your carbon footprint, and helps you to make small but meaningful steps towards cutting your emissions to save the planet. #climatechange #carbonemissions #smallsteps #sustainability #canberra
