20.01.2022 Stop Slow works! One of our traffic control teams completed stop/slow works at the main roundabout intersection this week in Pittwater. Traffic control supported one of our civil teams to dig 2 holes over the transmission and HP Gas for our #telecommunications client while maintaining traffic flow.... Our teams worked closely with RMS and the local council to ensure the night works were completed with minimal disruption. 18.01.2022 Big week for one of our #drilling crews! One of our #HDD crews were in Lane Cove with the Vermeer Australia 40x55DR this week to complete a tricky 160 meter downhill #directionaldrilling shot for one of our #telecommunications customers. To complete the installation of P63mm #comms conduit in Rock, our team needed to guide the #drillhead through a stretch that contained primary underground #fibres for 4 other #carriers.... With no room for error, this was a great effort by the crew. 14.01.2022 Movember Update! Do you know the staggering suicide statistics facing men in Australia? Sadly the rate of male suicide is alarmingly high. Please help us raise awareness and funds to help. According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare... - 3 out of 4 suicides in Australia are by men. - Suicide was the 9th leading cause of death in males - Suicide is the leading cause of death among people aged 1544. Movember has a mission to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030. They know that by improving overall mental health and helping men establish better social connections, we can reduce the risk of suicide. One of our own has taken up the challenge to support Movember. Aaron Bloom has some great Mo growth going on and is extremely passionate about supporting this mental health movement. 01.01.2022 We made the channel 7 News! For those who missed 7news last night. Coverage of our epic cable haul across the harbour tunnel shone a light on our teamwork and commitment to our customers. The works were completed on behalf of Aussie Broadband, as a part of their broader fibre network plans.... We overcame tight operating schedules to install the 720 core optical fibre cable through the Harbour Tunnel. The cable - Runs from the NBN Dalley POI (Point of Interconnect) through the tunnel and out into North Sydney. The next POI in North Sydney is St Leonards - that's 2-3km north of the tunnel exit. - Picks up three Equinix data centres in Alexandria, and the NBN POIs in Newton, Glebe, City South and Dalley. There's around 1,000m to construct in Macquarie Park, and it will pick up two data centres; NextDC S1 and NextDC S2. Fantastic effort from everyone at the Global and our customer Aussie broadband.
