22.01.2022 We have an outstanding facility in our midst in the form of the Gloucester Gallery which has been presenting excellent exhibitions to our community for going on 20 years. We are so fortunate to have this and we know that we can forget to highlight this and it can slip under the radar of our attention. So it's time to refocus on the gallery and invite the community to get involved, so if you would like to be involved the a few ways you can do just that. Firstly, you can. bec...ome a GACCI member and support the the arts in our town; you can become a volunteer at the gallery and help support the diverse range of exhibitors that we have in the gallery on a monthly basis, highlighting just how much talent we have in our town. You can contact the director through [email protected] if you're interested in becoming involved. You can also visit our webpage and become a member and/or a volunteer online. Then there's the GACCI Players who have been entertaining our local community with quality performances for 20 years as well and are always on the look out for new members to bare their souls on the stage. So don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today, so become a member/volunteer/player now!! See more

The launch will take place on the 30th of April at 5pm. The event has garnered support from Mid Coast Council and Shine funding. The workshops will cover a range of Arts disciplines that will allow the participants to design, develop and produce their own 'show' using the facilities and the resources at t...heir disposal. The idea is to provide a weekly venue for those involved to meet and workshop their ideas to build the performance, which has the potential to be any style depending on what those involved design. All interested youth between the ages of 12 to 18 are invited to register. To do this you will need to go to the GACCI webpage and complete the registration form prior to the 30th April. 05.01.2022 ***EXHIBITION PERIOD EXTENDED TO 6TH SEPTEMBER ***- 'Essence' Recent works by Christopher Steele. This recently created body of work by Christopher Steele con...tinues the exploration of the integration of analogous mark making combined with digital media that he has presented in his previous exhibitions. The imagery that forms the basis of the compositions is of water, trees and the female figure. Vertical lines are overlaid and used as a metaphor for life, energy and sustainability. These elements are digitally manipulated to create exhilarating works that engage the viewer. These are each unique and complex images that are difficult to replicate, this complexity provides a level of interest beyond the immediately evident and brilliantly vibrant colour and pattern. The viewer is drawn to look in more depth for the subtle representations of the female form.

05.01.2022 Another successful year of Pix from the Stix despite COVID! Thank you to everyone who submitted their work.

02.01.2022 The GACCI Players are hard at work preparing for a COVID-safe November performance!
