15.01.2022 I NEED YOUR HELP Names are a big deal to me. Im not sure Coeur de Lion (heart of the lion) is the right name for this colt?? It took me almost a year to name his sire The EarthShaker, around about the same time for The Chocolatier. I want a strong, masculine, powerful name as he will be a very big, powerful adult. He already has a lot of presence and that will only increase with maturity. Sire: The EarthShaker (Hercules x Molly Lass) Dam: Surrey Springs Tiani (Tom of Brackenhill x Tia) Tia means Princess as does Tiani. I have attached some photos of parents and grandparents to show the type he will mature into if it helps. I dont like names that have already been used or common to something else eg no Greek gods, mov I e character etc etc

08.01.2022 Day four for our slightly premature baby Couer De Lion, pronounced cor de'leon and meaning heart of the lion. He was just TO big to go full term so was evicted early, he is going so well now after having hiccups for the first three days, his tendons are all very contracted due to the size of him and being so cramped so Wednesday is his appointment for IV treatment. His lungs and heart were having a hard time keeping up and he kept getting such terrible colic as his gut wasn't quite ready to handle milk. He can't regulate his own body temperature yet so he has to stay in a very small, shaded area under a sprinkler when its hot. He gets half an hour of turn out in a little paddock each day to make sure he starts to build lung strength now. He will be a totally normal, happy baby in no time

08.01.2022 Today, I very rudely told my gelding he was the F word and he needs a diet and that its not a sympathy belly for the pregnant girls at all. I feel like he didn't appreciate it by the look on his face

06.01.2022 Surrey Springs Tiani (Tom of Brackenhill x Tia) gave birth to the most sensational tobiano colt by The EarthShaker (imp) at 10pm on Sunday the 15th of November. Im absolutely rapt. He is everything and more than I could have hoped for AND he looks like he will easily reach or exceed his dams height of 15.2hh.
