18.01.2022 With children now doing school from home, and social distancing measures still in place, we are continuing to offer Telehealth appointments to all of our clients. In order to claim a Medicare rebate for your sessions, your referring General Practitioner (or other relevant medical practitioner) is required to have lodged a Mental Health Care Plan with Medicare. We will require a copy of this Care Plan prior to, or at the time of your first appointment. If you are looking to make a claim through your Private Health Insurance, you do not need a Mental Health Care Plan or a referral from your doctor. You will need to check with your health insurance provider to see what rebates they offer.

14.01.2022 Most young kids will remember how their family home felt during the covid-19 panic more than anything specific about the virus, Dr. Rebecca Kennedy - Clinical Psychologist Here is just one fun way to record some of those memories.

14.01.2022 "One of the things I think that is causing most anxiety to people over and above just not knowing what lies ahead, is this requirement for us to physically separate from each other. I encourage us all to actually not use so much the phrase social distancing. I know that’s now had almost global acceptance. I'd like us to see if in Aus we can actually turn that around. Let's talk about physical distancing. Now physical distancing does not mean being disconnected. In fact if we coin the phrase ‘Physical distance with social connection’, I think we can start to lay a platform for a much more positive way for us to go forward." Christine Morgan. Chief Executive Officer of the National Mental Health Commission
