25.01.2022 Are you looking to go deeper with God in 2020?

25.01.2022 What does it mean to belong? Better still how does it feel to belong? It feels great when we know that we are accepted and included by others, but more often we miss this and we only take note of the times when we felt left out. You're not alone, we all have moments or many moments where we don't fit in; where we feel like outsiders even in familiar environments. It can be overwhelming to step out and talk with others, fear of what others think and self-doubt are part of the thoughts that swirl through my mind. But, it is only through our own openness and vulnerability that we can make genuine connections, find common interests that truly matter and then conversation and engagement is much easier. This certainly doesn't happen every time I try, but the reward is worth the risk.

23.01.2022 This is our team, I am so thankful for each of these women and what they contribute. Today we gathered digitally to debrief about Thursday night, about how God moves, about how we engaged and what we would like to do moving forward. I am excited to say that all the ladies were brimming with ideas and we look forward to bringing them to you. Please pray for our team as we pray for you. Continue to engage with one another, reach out and serve those around you. Sending you all our love! X Team Sarah Bizzell, Kat Bards, Cordelia Stoddart, Dina Souza Gainsford, Rosaline Moody, Jenny Savill, Toni Walker and Theresa Johnson.

22.01.2022 Spring is such a beautiful time in Toowoomba. It feels like we emerge from the cold winter and celebrate life. At the moment GNO cannot meet as we have in the past, so why not get a few friends over? Or meet in a park or at your favourite coffee shop? Here are some conversation starters........ Enjoy!

20.01.2022 All of us want to belong. To belong to a group, a team, a club, to be included and to be visible. God designed us to belong, to be in relationship. Genesis 2:18 God said. "It is not good for man to be alone. I will make him suitable helper" It is not good for us to be alone. So it is no wonder that we desire to belong. However, there are times when the feeling of not belonging consumes us. It is painful and heartbreaking and VERY COMMON. Sister - you are not alone! You belong here. You have value, worth and purpose. God wants you to lean into Him. He wants the best for you, He cheers for you. His love for you is full and complete. In Him we find our belonging. - Jenny Savill Join us at Girls' Night Out. Tickets on sale at humeridge.church or see the info counter.

17.01.2022 Our watch party will begin at 7.30PM tonight!

10.01.2022 GNO is still going ahead this Thursday night - in an online experience. We are going to go LIVE at 7.30PM in a Facebook Watch Party. How this works is that we will preload some video content (so don't watch it early if you don't want spoilers), then at 7.30PM come onto this GNO facebook page and we will watch the videos together. Our GNO team and our speaker, Tanya Machin will be active in the comments to play games, ask questions, share insights and engage together. So whilst we may be self-isolating, quaratining or just limbo living, we are not alone. It is in this time we notice where we belong, the cancelled plans and the changes in our workplaces, homes and community. We hope you'll join us errors and all :D

10.01.2022 Hospitality is an easy thing to show, but we often worry our way out of trying it! " My house is too messy", " I don't have time", "I can't cook very well" "What if I invite people and they don't come?" There is nothing nicer than being invited, being chosen, being seen. We all long to be asked in. Jesus was so inclusive, his invitations were for everyone. ... Have a go at inviting a few friends for a cuppa. (to your house, at the park, at a coffee shop!) Use the questions on our page to prompt your conversations. Ask God to guide you and be part of your time together and then trust Him. Let's grow more like him and put aside the fears that stop us from caring for others. Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

07.01.2022 Getting excited for our first watch party! Starts at 7.30PM.

03.01.2022 "Together in the Storm" In the month of September we would love you to get a group of friends together for some food, fun and fellowship. In the park, at your favourite coffee shop or around your Dining Room Table; we will provide you with some table questions, placecards and devotions to share. ... So get planning! you have plenty of time to choose a date and invite your friends. Spring is just around the corner. We would love to see how your day looked, so take lots and share them here! 01.01.2022 Hello ladies, with the present changes and concerns regarding COVID-19 we have chosen to present the content prepared for this upcoming GNO in a different way. Whilst we can't meet together, we still want to be an encouragement to one another and share the message of belonging. We have a number of things to still work out, but we will look at presenting content on this platform, so if you haven't already, please like our page for updates and we will keep you in the loop. We still want to interact, engage and connect with one another. See you 'here'
