13.01.2022 Last week I was advised by the Manager of the Connect Fitness gym that due to construction works that are going on around the gym, it will cease trading on 17th July 2014. It will not be relocating or reopening the doors, with demolition of the building being a possibility. Therefore Go Shin Ryu Ju Jutsu will be closing its doors. The last training night will be Monday 14th July.... We will look around for suitable alternate premises but that may take some time ... if at all. If we can find a suitable venue I will advise everyone of the details.

13.01.2022 Visit from Shihan Peter Evans on Monday 15th April 2013, make sure you are at training for this one !!!

12.01.2022 Reminds me of the old saying ..."boards don't hit back"... but they can still leave splinters !

08.01.2022 CLUB SPOTLIGHT! MAGOTTO RYU JIU JUTSU was founded by Hanshi Roy Davies and follows the traditional martial arts tenets of Aiki-Jutsu. Hanshi Roy Davies started ...judo and jujitsu at the Lysaghts Judo Club in 1959, and this was the start of life-long quest in martial arts. Oddly enough Roy never intended to teach jujitsu - it was his own personal form of self defence! He only wanted to understand and learn the complexities of his chosen martial art, as judo was his martial sport. MAGOTTO RYU Jiu Jitsu was founded in 1986, with a syllabus that covered from 5th Kyu to 3rd Kyu, and four students! They had two new members from a fighting Tai Chi school that had closed down - one of these fellows knew Allan Carter, who introduced them to Hanshi Roy - then Clive Watson, a judo Sho-Dan, also joined. That made five! Our training offers practical solutions for self-defence, as well as providing other benefits such as discipline, balance and spatial awareness. Classes are at Bulli, New South Wales, Monday and Wednesday nights. http://magotto-ryu.webs.com/

Please make your flight and accommodation bookings as soon as possible to ensure you don't miss out. Download the information handout from here > http://www.ajja.org/images/stories/AJJA-seminar2014.pdf
