20.01.2022 The cracks in the paddock prior to the most welcome 153mm of rain on Friday and Saturday. Drought is far from over, we need solid follow up rain to replenish ground water levels, but a good start and welcome temporary relief. Water tanks are at least full!

15.01.2022 Monday morning sunrise here at our farm, And some lovely green oak lettuce and pak choy fresh and ready for harvest

14.01.2022 These guys have been working really hard to keep the produce free from Aphids this spring. Please meet Ahpidius. They lay their eggs in live Aphids and then hatch out of the Aphid to keep going on its live cycle. Recently we have been seeing lots of them on our Pak choy cleaning up Aphids. If you find one in your produce release it in your garden to continue the good work. #go4greens #lettuce #food #healthy #salad #yummy #nice #dinner #delicious #foodie #cooking #hydroponics #kale #fresh #cleaneating #farming #farmtotable

13.01.2022 Choi Sum is not all that well known in Australia but one of the best tasting Asian greens on farm. Here is a very nice Stir fry recipe from the good food website. http://www.goodfood.com.au//choy-sum-stirfry-20111018-29wm3... #go4greens #lettuce #food #healthy #salad #yummy #nice #dinner #delicious #foodie #cooking #hydroponics #kale #fresh #cleaneating #farming #farmtotable

12.01.2022 This is why IPM works. The Cabbage Moth only lays its eggs in the Landcress.

12.01.2022 This shows the bug pressure experienced this spring, this is from one night's capture in our monitoring trap. Note the Willy-wag-tail doing an inspection and having breakfast. #ipm #hydroponics #farming

08.01.2022 The Bladder cells on the leaves looks like ice droplets. They are full of salt that these clever plants extract from the water. As a bonus they taste great as well and can be used in salads and other dishes were we want some natural seasoning. Keep watching this space to see where we go with this.

05.01.2022 The little Ice plant from the last post moved onto the tables in the big sheds.

04.01.2022 As if the drought and winds are not enough, thrips are giving us a hard time. Other farmers are also affected, who would like to count the thrips on the sticky trap?

04.01.2022 Breakfast anyone?

02.01.2022 Looking good Peter. Love the Ice plant, my new favorite plant... with benefits.

02.01.2022 Looks like Australians Liked Asian Veg. #go4greens #food #healthy #salad #yummy #nice #dinner #delicious #foodie #cooking #fresh #cleaneating
