Lean shredded chicken is combined with creamy yogurt, crispy apples and sweet grapes for a tasty, tangy combo. Serve between 100% whole grain bread and you have a satisfying, packable lunch. If youd rather go low-carb, you can sub in a side salad instead of the bread. Ingredients... 500g cooked chicken breast or rotisserie chicken, shredded (about 4 cups shredded) 1/2 cup diced red onion (about 1/2 medium red onion or 60 grams) 1/2 cup diced apple 100 grams quartered or halved grapes 1 Small tub Chobani 0% Yogurt (170g low fat plain greek yougurt) 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more, to taste 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and pepper, to taste 12 slices of 100% whole grain bread (about 100 calories each) 6 medium lettuce leaves Directions In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, red onion, apple, grapes, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using a 3/4 cup measuring scoop, portion out the chicken salad. These High protein Low carb pancakes will have you forgetting your eating healthy, helping to keep your sanity and satisfy that sweet tooth of yours!... With 32g Protein and next to no carbs, this would be perfect for any breakfast or snack. The secret ingredient to the recipe is the psyllium husk. Psyllium is a form of fiber made from the Plantago ovata plant, specifically from the husks of the plants seed. Adding psyllium to your diet can help promote regularity and overall digestive health. Psyllium husk is relatively cheap, and can be found in all health food stores and now majority of supermarket in the health food section. Start with this basic recipe then feel free to add any toppings to add protein or fats to your diet. Ingredients ( 1 large pancake or 3-4 small pancakes) 30g Whey Protein Powder 15g Psyllium Husk 1 Whole Egg ( or 2 egg whites if you want to cut some calories from the yolk) 50g Liquid ( milk, water, almond milk etc) Method 1. Mix all above ingredients, making sure to remove as many lumps as possible 2. Let mixture sit for 5 minutes to thicken 3. Coat and Heat fry pan to medium heat 4. Pour whole mixture for 1 large pancake or spoon smaller amounts for 3-4 smaller pancakes 5. Wait 60-90 seconds till bubbles start to appear through mixture and flip continuing to cook for an additional 30 seconds 6. Top with topping of your choice * Recommendation - For added protein - dollop some Chobani Yoghurt (mixed with some more protein powder for extra protein and flavour) and add some sweet fresh berries Macros ( when made with whey, skim milk and whole egg without toppings) Calories - 213 Protein - 32g Carbohydrate - 6g Fat - 6g Fibre - 11g

Recipe couldnt be any easier Ingredients 4 Slices Wholemeal Bread 100ml Egg whites (3-4 Egg whites) 1 Scoop Protein Powder 50ml Liquid (Milk, Water etc) Optional Toppings Calorie Free Syrup Berries Nuts etc Method 1. I see to many so called "experts" and "gurus" still preaching the yolks will give you high cholesterol, but for the majority of you out there it couldnt be further from the truth They might not come from anywhere fancy like the himalayas or the amazon but i still consider these a super food, and yet so affordable! Containing so many vitamins and minerals not too mention protein and fats, that are so easily digested and utilised. ... Yes too much of anything can be bad for you, and there is nothing wrong with adding egg whites for extra protein without too many extra calories, but if your not consuming whole eggs regularly your really missing out on so many benefits. I myself start each and everyday with atleast 3-4 whole eggs along with other sources of fat and protein eg nuts, beef, avocado. Try this for a few weeks while staying away from any carbs just for breakfast and tell me if you see and feel the difference. Ask yourself what you have done wrong? Where can you improve?
