23.01.2022 Only 3 more sleeps until our 1st High performance program kicks off. We still have a couple of available spots so get in quick. To wet your appetite we thought we would give you a rough overview of what you can expect in the first 2 sessions. Session 1. All types of testing. Speed, agility, strength, batting, bowling, fielding to name a few. This will give our coaches an insight into your strengths and weaknesses. Each participant will receive an exercise program to assist w...ith your improvement. There will also be an information component to learn a cricket specific warm up and the importance of preparation. Session 2. This session will be a high intensity full of drills both batting & bowling. All bowlers will be video recorded and have their technique analysed by our resident physiotherapist Adam Daniels from Allsports Physiotherapy. We've been working hard behind the scenes on getting a high performance academy off the ground for this coming pre-season and it's officially happening. We'll be running an eight-week program led by a number of quality specialist coaches covering skills, strength and conditioning and more. A lot of these programs come in at a cost of closer to $500 but not ours - $250 will cover all eight two-hour sessions with three coaches such as N...ick Stevens, Harry Winton and Adam Daniels attending each. To put that into perspective, a one-on-one coach often charges $60+ an hour. Get around this great opportunity to hit the ground running this summer and take your game to the next level. Wednesday night we were lucky enough to have Dolphins legend Damian Wallis bring decades worth of experience as a keeper-batsman, joining regular coaches Harry Winton and Adam Daniels. We'll see more of Nick Stevens and Shamus Robertson too before we're done #GCNHPA

12.01.2022 Next up we have Harry Winton Harry has been consistent high level performer at Queens in the Cricket Gold Coast competition. His aggressive consistent bowling has seen him be one of the leagues leading wicket takers. Level 1 coach. In the process of obtaining level 2.... Current Cricket Gold Coast u21s coach Career highlights Winning a premiership with my brothers for Queens Playing 1st grade at 2 Brisbane grade clubs Representing QLD Country team for the past 4 years and the past 3 with his brother Sam giving him the opportunity to play alongside some of the best cricketers in the country. We are just as excited to have Harry available to pass on his great experience and knowledge.

Also a big thank you to all the parents who got their children involved.... Finally the biggest thanks goes to all the awesome kids who participated. 04.01.2022 There is no better time for us to introduce some of our coaches. First up is Nick Stevens Nick is a Gold Coast junior who has excelled at higher levels since he was a teen. Nick brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as well as a enthusiastic attitude.... Level 1 coach. ACI Coach Currently playing Valleys 1st XI Career Highlights Scoring 158 for Queensland Bulls against South Australia at Adelaide Oval. Representing Australia at the Under 19 World Cup. Playing first grade for the Gold Coast Dolphins at the age of 16. Debuting at 16 years old for QLD 2nd XI and scoring 100 against WA 2nd XI in my 2nd game. We feel very lucky to have someone of Nick's experience on board.

01.01.2022 One of the most exciting things included in our program is the sport science section. Participants will have the opportunity to have video analysis of their techniques, be educated in injury prevention, workload management, recovery, strength and conditioning, a throwing technique session and more. To allow for all this we have got Adam Daniels from All Sports Physiotherapy on board Adam's Bio below ... Senior Physiotherapist Bachelor of Exercise Science. Masters in Physiotherapy Adam is a renowned physiotherapist who has been plying his craft on the Gold Coast for 14 years. Adam has real passion for cricket which comes from a very successful playing career at Gold Coast Dolphins where as an opening batsman he played in 3 x A Grade premierships.
