His work has won numerous awards over the years, and lucky us: we get to have him as a tutor! Not only does he have a depth of art knowledge, but he genuinely makes learning fun. You'll find yourself fully engaged during his session, learning individually and as a whole class. So if you're struggling with drawing, need a hand mixing tricky colours..., or you just want to improve your skills as a painter, you will love this workshop. 11.01.2022 Watercolour is challenging. Those beautiful flowing colours and forms can take some practice to get right! Like a lot of arty things, you can’t expect miracles the second you pick up a paintbrush But you know what helps? A willingness to learn, and quality instruction. Our current Monday watercolour students are working closely with James McKay, learning how to better control this medium and gain success! I love wandering through and seeing what they’re up to (sorry to the evening group, I should take more pics of you too!) If you’re not 100% fresh to watercolour, but would some of that quality instruction, get in touch. Our Beginner sessions start soon! Jess

03.01.2022 Were super chuffed to have James McKay teaching his watercolour "secrets" with us every Monday. Theres an AM and a PM session available, already booking spots. Not quite a workshop, and definitely not a one-off class, this series of 4 sessions will expose a lot of problems beginners have trying to wrangle with this medium.
