15.01.2022 The Premier has declared a 3-day lockdown in Greater Brisbane from 6pm, Friday 8 January 2021 until 6pm, Monday 11 January 2021. The lockdown applies to the local government areas of Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan. Any Gold Coast resident who has visited Brisbane since January 2 must enter a three-day lockdown at home from 6pm today.

On a live statement, the Queensland premier announced that Greater Brisbane will enter a three-day lockdown from 5 pm, Monday 29 March with restrictions that will come into place across Queensland. This announcement followed the detection of COVID-19 transmission within the region.... While it is hoped that the decision will prevent a prolonged period of lockdown and uncertainty, impacted businesses are once again bunkering down on the front line of the ongoing COVID-19 Crisis.
