19.01.2022 "Apartment 57" - Gold Coast Italo-Australian Club - Jan 18, 2020. "Apartment 57" is a musical journey. It is set in the lounge room at Erics place, Apartment 57. This was a concept show featuring local, Gold Coast musicians who regularly jam together on a Thursday night in the hinterland - the idea was to take that group of musos from Eric's place in Mudgeeraba and have them play in a drop-in type format at Apartment 57 on a stage. #GCEN At Gold Coast Italo-Australian Club.

Apartment 57 is a musical journey. It is set in the lounge room at Erics place, Apartment 57, where old friends drop in to play the songs that influenced their younger lives. Songs such as Streets of London the only hit record of Ralph McTell and Cat Stevens Where Do the Children Play?. As friends of Eric arrive at Apartment 57, the musical genres progress through songs of other folk and easy listening icons of the 70s such as John Williamson, James Taylor, Art Garfunkel and Eric Clapton. The night at Apartment 57 climaxes with a guitar duel as Eric and his protégé, Mikky, try to outdo each other on some of the instrumental classics of The Shadows, before some other guy turns up and reminds Mikky that they have a party later that night at which they are the feature act. After the show, there will be dancing from 8pm till late as Mikky and The Other Guy play the music of Pink Floyd, The Angel's. Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Dr Hook, Keith Urban, Credence Clearwater Revival and more. This is party night. Do not miss it.
