17.01.2022 This is Don and Brent after spending this evening lining our pitches for the start of the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League Inc. - BASL Competitive Juniors season on Saturday. We don’t have a photo of all our volunteers who turned up to help with marking out pitches, setting up nets and handing out strips so everything is ready for the season kicking-off. A great effort and a huge thanks to everybody who helped. It’s not the season we had planned. We must all follow Football Vic...toria’s Return to Play conditions to reduce the risk of transmission and help keep our communities safe. Thanks to Toddy and his angle grinder for saving the day, and thanks to all our coaches, managers, volunteers, referees, parents, carers and players for getting the 2020 season off to a great start for our Competitive Juniors. 12.01.2022 Golden City are still looking for players for its Under 10 Girls teams and its Under 6 and Under 7 Mixed teams. Junior soccer games and training are permitted under Football Victoria Return to Training Conditions. Our Miniroos season starts on Saturday 11 July. Games are played on Saturday mornings on small-sided pitches with modified rules to make the games inclusive, engaging and fun.... Training takes place once a week at Shadforth Park, Fenton Street, North Bendigo. Our Junior Coordinator can answer any questions.

11.01.2022 We still need players for our Under 6 and Under 7 Mixed teams. Training is on Wednesdays at 4.15pm at Shardforth Park and the season kicks off on Saturday. Under 6 and 7 teams are four-a-side with no goalkeeper. Games are played on small-sided pitches and are non-competitive (scores aren’t recorded and there isn’t a ladder).... All games are played on Saturday mornings at 9am, 10am or 11am at the Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve. Our Junior Coordinator can answer any questions. Please share this post.

11.01.2022 Great to see our Junior teams back at training. Our two Under 16 teams were at Shadforth Park tonight. We are still training under Football Victoria Return to Training conditions this week but from Monday 22 June our Junior teams can resume full contact training.

06.01.2022 2020 Season update The Competitive Junior season (Under 14 to Under 16) will start on Saturday 4 July and the Miniroos (Non-Competitive Junior) season on Saturday 11 July. Bendigo Amateur Soccer League Inc. - BASL is working on the fixtures and will post them when they are available.... All junior teams are allowed full contact training and games under Football Victoria’s Return to Return to Training/Play Guidelines for Juniors. BASL are still planning for the Senior Season to go ahead. Seniors can begin contact training from Monday 13 July and the season could start on Sunday 26 July, pending State Government approval. Football Victoria has issued updated Return to Training Guidelines for Seniors, and Return to Training/Play Guidelines for Juniors. We ask players, coaches, managers, parents and guardians to read and follow Football Victoria Guidelines.
