20.01.2022 The Whyalla Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a non-political organisation representing the best interests of commerce & industry in Whyalla. The Chamber wanted their site to become the primary information resource for businesses in Whyalla. To achieve this content was categorised for easy navigation and promotion of key information like Business of the Month, and the ‘soapbox’, a monthly brief from the president. We also added some online forms for improved communication, and automated news aggregation featuring local news from major media outlets. Automatic article posting to Facebook & Twitter was configured as well as subscriber list management via mail chimp to further improve communication. http://www.wcci.org.au

14.01.2022 The Whyalla Golf Club has had a long association with Golden Orb Web. Golden Orb Web was originally commissioned to build their website in 2010 which had amassed 180,000 hits up to May 2016. The ‘old’ site was looking a bit tired and lacked the functionality of modern websites, so we were approached to build a new one! Our brief was simple. It had to be visually pleasing but above all else, easy to navigate and easy to maintain. There were a few must haves, including an inter...active course layout, local weather display, aggregated golf & sporting news and easy access to third party sites one golf & golf link. 11.01.2022 A really exiting project where we worked with a young local entrepreneur to develop an Esports news source with automatic aggregation of multiple news sources. We let our ‘Bill Gates in the Making’, Ethan loose on this project, and he delivered! Some 205 million people watched or played eSports in 2014, according to market research firm Newzoo meaning that if the eSports nation were actually a nation, it would be the fifth largest in the world! http://www.anytimeesports.com

10.01.2022 A local animal loving lacto-ovo-pescatarian poet and philosopher, contacted Golden Orb Web. Being an avid photographer, they wanted to combine their photos & thoughts and deliver them to the masses! The brief was simplekeep it simple! We built a very simple frame work, based on categories and a streamlined upload and posting system. Along the way we also monetised the site with Google Adsense to provide some potential return for their ongoing efforts.
