24.01.2022 What does it take to clean a pool? 27 volunteers, 8 hours, sludge galore and a whole lotta sweeping! Thank you to our incredible volunteer team for all their work today - they love this pool, and do it all so we can enjoy a wonderful place to swim, gather connect and grow While there's some sore feet and legs tonight, we're that next step closer to opening on Saturday 21 November!

VICSWIM offers affordable swimming lessons to kids four years and older. Each program consists of 5 x 30-minute lessons starting at the same time each day throughout the week. Limited spaces still available at Golden Square Pool. Week 1 starts on Monday. 14.01.2022 Do your kids love to swim? Great news - Lap Club is back at Golden Square Pool every Tuesday and Thursday between 4pm and 5pm. Lap Club is perfect for kids who already know how to swim and are able to swim the length of the 50 metre pool. ... They’ll get pointers from coach Deb Gordois to help them build on the skills and techniques learned in swim classes. Laps swum during Lap Club are tallied across the season with kids getting rewards from the canteen when they hit km targets. Cost is only $1 per session on top of your entry fee. BYO goggles and flippers (if you need them not compulsory).

08.01.2022 37C FRIDAY! It's going to be an absolute scorcher today - perfect time for a swim at the Square! We'll be open to the public from 3.15pm-8pm today... come down for an after school swim, or bring dinner As per our COVID-19 regulations, we are allowed 300 on site at the one time. If you're concerned, before you visit call ahead to the kiosk. A reminder that you are encouraged to bring your own equipment, as we are not loaning ours out due to restrictions. Please note, schools are on site today for swimming - however, this is a private booking. Public swimming begins at 3.15pm.
