20.01.2022 The flowers are out and the sites looking great while we eagerly await the news of when we can reopen again. Weve opened bookings for October with the promise that if Melbourne Iso2.0 is still in force, guests can move dates or be refunded, so long as the booking is direct with us through our website.

13.01.2022 It's so quiet! The smell of eucalyptus is fresh and wonderful in the rain. Thursday has always been my favorite day for rain as it freshens everything up for guests arriving for the weekend. Last night we had 15mm of steady soaking rain and it's just started again. This is my favourite sort of rain

11.01.2022 Did you know.... Goldfield Glamping has just 5 tents? That means there’s only ever 8 other people around! So, social distancing isn’t a problem, on 25 acres. We’ve also worked out a new COVID-19 cancellation policy, so if you get sick, are caught up in a local lockdown (they might be a thing) or we have to close because of COVID-19 you will not be out of pocket! We refunded everyone who booked stays between March and now because it was the right thing to do. We hope that our guests stay safe and come to visit us soon

09.01.2022 We reopen on 2nd October for regional Victorians to visit. Hang in there Melbourne we cant wait for you guys to be able to come too. Any bookings made directly, will have a new cancellation policy that allows people to reschedule if they're sick and we will always refund if an area goes into lockdown and people arent allowed to travel! If bookings are made through third party sites, their cancellation policies will still apply - so book directly at www.goldfieldglamping.com.au

06.01.2022 Weve been in touch with all our guests who've booked for the next few weeks and it's with a heavy heart that we are closing Goldfield Glamping while the government advises against all none essential travel. Weve refunded or provided vouchers for future travel depending on what the guest chooses. Closing down is the right thing to do, the socially responsible thing to do, to keep our guests, our community and ourselves safe.... Stay safe and we look forward to welcoming guests again soon Joy and Norman x
