22.01.2022 A big congratulations to Connor Fewkes for winning the 2020 McDonald's Goldfields Classic. Connor beat Logan Vidovich (Mandurah) by 4 shots. 18.01.2022 What an amazing day at the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship! The day started brilliantly with junior Lachie Hough taking on the role as tee announcer on number 1. Great job Lachie. Our champ Connor Fewkes raced up the leaderboard during the day by shooting an amazing 5 under par. It was fantastic to see so many GGC members following Connor and offering support. Connor finished tied 6th, a brilliant result. Congratulations to Jarryd Felton for taking out the title. To top the day off, major sponsor and Road to the Outback participant, Zak Raad, won the RTTO event alongside Brett Rumford. Zak kindly donated his winnings to the GGC junior program. 01.01.2022 Our annual Goldfields Golf Club Charity Golf day was held yesterday in beautiful conditions. This year's event was held to support Hope Community Services and the Little Pantry. Our members raised a healthy $3000 and also filled 10 bags worth of groceries. Over the past 6 years the GGC has raised over $34,000 for local worthwhile charities. A huge thank you to the Kalgoorlie Golf Course for donating the prizes, Lyndon Jones for the auction items and Graham Green for the ...use of his PA system. Members played 18 holes of Stableford off the white and yellow tees.
