19.01.2022 This weekend is the monthly golf medal match with a select few members making the cut. Here we have upto date stats on some players, current betting odds and form guide. Tony Swanson 6/1 Tony's freshly recovered from a wrist injury that saw a big hike in his handicap, so he is the current favorite. He had a massive 11 stroke win to make the comp and has had high confidence since. Allegedly his brother Dick will be dropping over a bottle of his favorite pinot the night befor...e to try and cloud his vision and mind early on. Expect a solid round from Tony Rodney Macbeth 8/1 Rodney has also freshly recovered from an injury and is back loving his golf again. Fitness is a question mark atm but he has commenced an extensive training program of swinging chainsaws and brushcutters to ensure he is primed for the main event. Expect Rod to come out all guns blazing but to fade late. Nigel Wallace 9/1 Nigel had an awesome round to make this comp and is tough to beat on his day. He is a confident player and alot of his round depends on his first drive. He has been reading the little book of calm, yoga sessions and looking within himself to try and get the focus to win the big event. If he pumps his first drive expect high confidence and low scores. Drew Wilson 12/1 Rumours has it Drew has purchased 4 new putters and will have them all in play to hope they will all have a honeymoon period. One for long putts, one for short putts, and 2 for back ups incase the first two dont work and get tossed in the bin. With some serious bushrangers in the mix he is not expected to bother the leader board Dick Swanson 15/1 Dick has ordered extra gigabytes for a massive month of golf. Now has 3 screens so that he can watch Moe Norman, David Ledbetter and Nick Faldo you tube videos all at once. Recently he had a lesson and as a result he has new swing thoughts to focus on but will these new visions come into practice on the big day? Expect 10 different swing thoughts all at once and a few Moe Normans (shanks) on tough holes. We hope everyone is looking forward to the months golf at scamander with club championships, men's and mixed foursome championships all coming up its going to be a big few weeks!
