16.01.2022 We believe in the power of making fearless, affecting and visceral theatre but let's be clear, we're not here to be "edgy". The safety of our audiences and our creatives is paramount, and it is only through transparency and care that a production like 'Monument' can fully engage with its audience. Gom Jabbar advises that this production contains simulated violence and themes including depression, suicide and domestic abuse. We have provided front-of-house staff with hotline information and encourage people affected by the performance to seek support.
14.01.2022 Was fortunate enough to see the 2018 Graduating Company of NICA perform their final show! Such a treat I was in tears with laughter. Still some shows left to see! If you're in Melbourne catch it before it ends! https://www.facebook.com/events/2212626068979495/ #NICA
14.01.2022 Our brilliant friends in Applespiel wanted to make a show about e-sports. Instead they made a show about our complicity in the abuse of asylum seekers. It's a powerful experience - don't miss this amazing event at Liveworks 2018.
11.01.2022 On our closing night, let's introduce the other half of Gom Jabbar, our writer and AV designer for Monument Sydney Fringe 2018... David Molloy is a writer and multidisciplinary artist focused on the intersection between stage and screen. Since graduating from both UOW: University of Wollongong, Australia and Australian Film Television and Radio School, he has worked internationally in both mediums, working with artists including One Heart Pictures, Matriark Theatre, Woodcourt Art Theatre, Team MESS, Eclective Productions, Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC), Belvoir St Theatre and Shopfront Arts Co-Op. 'Monument' for Sydney Fringe Festival 2018 is David's third production as AV designer, his second with The Sydney Fringe and his first as playwright.

08.01.2022 This is a situation where we hate being relevant. Australia is not immune. We explore the global mass shooting phenomenon in ‘Monument’, our debut play. Thanks to @guardian for their work. . . . .... . #monumentsff18 #theatre #guns #australia #sydneyfringe See more

05.01.2022 Snaps from the development of 'Monument' for The Sydney Fringe 2018. Space graciously provided through Shopfront Arts Co-Op's Open Shop program.
02.01.2022 Still reeling from the incredible response to Monument Sydney Fringe 2018. For those who didn't make it, here's a look at our cast and set, taken by Pamela Amores. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the show - it's our first together, and artists grow through feedback. Slide into our DMs. Three more weeks of Sydney Fringe Festival 2018 to go!
01.01.2022 Showtime. 9 hours away. #monumentsff18
