25.01.2022 Hope everyone is recovering well.

25.01.2022 Hi Nutters, please see a request from one of our competitors - Dan McCowen - from the 101.7km event - who was blown away by the support from fellow competitors - he would dearly love to say thanks to the those that collected his gear and returned it to him! Dan Wrote: I have one note and I am not sure how to publicize this, but as I mentioned to you on Sunday morning, whilst on the ‘Nut’ my bag had opened and some items had fallen out. Two amazing fellow runners found the ...contents and they were returned to me. This to me was a clear demonstration of the unspoken comradery which exists between ultra-trail runners as it is not something I have witnessed during road running events. Thank you again and best wishes for 2020

08.01.2022 ** Are you a keen trail runner? I have something for you!** I have been working on a new regenerative community project called Wilder Trails. The idea is to hig...hlight amazing trail running routes whilst supporting local communities and environments. The project is the extension of Jahn Pahwa's Kunanyi-Wellington Loop and will incorporate routes around Tasmania, and hopefully one day other States & Territories. After completing a route you can collect an embroidered badge or lapel pin from FIND YOUR FEET, and we hope that you will collect lots over time! There will be routes for beginners, younger, older and experienced legs alike. This is not a competitive platform. Rather, we want you to have lasting experiences & hikers and other trail enthusiasts are warmly encouraged to join in too! We hope that the community that forms around this project will then help to instigate new routes, support local community & environmental projects, and give back through their actions and enthusiasm. We will be officially launching the website soon! However, stay up to date with our latest news by joining our Wilder Trails Facebook Group today! www.facebook.com/groups/wildertrails/ . . . 06.01.2022 Hi Nutters, we have had quite a few questions lately asking about the Gone Nuts event in 2021.We - along with many others have been watching the uncertainty around events,it certainly is interesting times, however we are staying positive and want to play our part in getting people back to our patch of paradise so....... SUBJECT TO ALL APPROPRIATE APPROVALS, PERMITS & COVID REQUIREMENTS, which we are currently working through - we intend to run the 5th Edition as usual, on ...the first weekend in March - Pencil in the 6th March 2021. It is anticipated entries will open in mid to late August - again subject to meeting above requirements. Lets Hope we can "GO NUTS" and become a first time or 5th nutter in 2021

03.01.2022 Huge Thanks to the Waratah Wynyard council for their assistance with our contactless water fill stations to help with our Covid-19 plan for Gone Nuts 2021. Foot operated to eliminate the need to open and close taps by hand. For those who got to use them during Gone Nuts found them simple , easy and quick to fill their bottles and bladders With the support of the Waratah Wynyard council we were able to manufacture 4 of these stations 3x550 liter and 1x900 liter. 2 are fitted with our own design lighting towers. Thanks again to Waratah Wynyard council for your continued support of Gone Nuts
