Suddenly I remember that it's been weeks since I wanted to get to Heirisson Island to catch a sunset. ... Quick maps check. ETA 19mins. App check tells me sunset time is at 5:21pm... (math says yes) . I asked my 14yo daughter if she wanted to tag along, she agrees, and we take about 5mins to get ready. . Arrived at the parking 5:24pm sunset is happening, there's still light. My app says last light is at 5:47pm, we walk at fast pace, but it's not enough, we sprint and fast walk, we're tired, out of breath... We get to the desired location, setup my mini tripod since my preferred tripod died this week. Snap on ND8, carefully step on the rocks, setup tripod in the muddy sand. The time stamp. 5:47:45pm.
