24.01.2022 Some welcome visitors to my garden. I decided to plant heaps of sunflowers this year as they can enrich the soil and attract beneficial insects to the garden. Also our bees need a helping hand to survive due to monocrops etc. I also love sunflowers as they grow fast and beautify the garden..and when done? Just cut the stalk to leave intact all the hard work they have done underground..and feed the head to the chooks...leftovers will become excellent compost. They take up v...ery little space in the garden as they basically grow like a stick. If anyone needs some dm me as I bought a large bag before the shut in and I can post them out if I can get to the post office. #sunflower #bees #homegardener #regenerativeagriculture # #sunflowerseeds

14.01.2022 What an exciting thing it is too watch the cycles of growth, from bud to flower to mature fruit or vegetable, especially the first few times when one gets to witness the whole spectacular event in real time! How fast do cucumbers grow? When the soil is just right...very! And they are so cute!
