23.01.2022 Happy New Year fellow hunters! 2020 saw me round out the year with a total of 24 foxes and sadly no deer, though I was fortunate to have a mate share some of his venison from hunts earlier on in the year. A lot has changed in the last 6 months , you may have noticed my content peaked with my review of the Z-Vision DN303 and following that slowly died out as the year went on. All in due time but for now I just want to wish you all the very best for 2021!

14.01.2022 I've had kangaroo meat, both harvested myself and bought from a local supermarket for human consumption and I think it's great! Not as good as venison but still good

12.01.2022 Something I look forward to doing as a father of 4 is introducing my children to hunting. They're a little young still so what better way to get them in to the outdoors than fishing! They're cousins were going out to a near by spot and invited us to tag along. There were no bites this time around but they had a great time! 07.01.2022 Before leaving the property I thought I would give the ole Silva Fox Whistle a blast in hopes of a fox. After 5 minutes I thought I had been unsuccessful until I went to grab my gear and saw this vixen about 50 meters away wondering towards me. Needless to say she wasn't interested in any whistles or squeaks at this time of year, nor had she seen me. She appeared to be doing what I could only describe as "spreading her scent". Waited for her to pull up for a moment and I was ...able to place a solid shot to her head and it was instant lights out A quick, clean kill putting confidence in not only in me but also in the Remington Subsonic rounds I'll be running on some rabbits soon. 01.01.2022 Quick trip earlier this week with a stop off (piss break) near Belanglo State Forest where we found this guy dragged off the road and under some pines. Looks like he's been decaying for some time now, but they're certainly around!
