23.01.2022 Did you know we had silkworms at the Centre. The children feed them each day and watch as they continue to grown. There has been lots of discussion as to why they are different colours and what they will turn out to be when they grown. Will they be a butterfly or a moth?????

23.01.2022 National Child Protection Week. Putting children first’ was front of mind when the National Child Protection Week campaign was launched in 1990, with the aim of bringing abuse and neglect out of the shadows and putting child wellbeing on the national agenda. This National Child Protection Week (6 12 September), is an opportunity for us to celebrate the many ways that everyone in the community can make a difference in the life of a child.... At Goodstart we want to help give all of Australia’s children the best start in life and Child Protection Week is all about just that! We Believe All children have the right to be safe and to feel safe, happy and empowered. We are always here to support you, as you support your family and communities. #childprotectionweek #goodstartchildprotection #puttingchildrenfirst

05.01.2022 Last year, Goodstart launched its Behaviour Support Kit materials which have proven to be highly useful in helping to teach young children behaviour expectations, prosocial skills and self-regulation. To extend this learning into homes, the Goodstart@Home team has now developed a Behaviour Support Kit for families. By using a familiar approach and resources at home, parents can further support their children to understand their big emotions and how to communicate their needs ...in an effective way. Parents like Jess Buckley, are loving having the Behaviour Support Kit on hand to help them set up routines, and work through emotions and behaviours at home. If you would like to order a Family Behaviour Support Kit please contact the centre. https://youtu.be/yq7LV-frHU8
