25.01.2022 What did you do this week to celebrate Indigenous Literacy day?

23.01.2022 Today the Easter Bunny came to visit The children were so excited to meet the Easter Bunny and give him a cuddle, he also left some treats for the children to take home. We hope everyone had a happy and safe Easter break.

23.01.2022 We walk together, hand in hand! This is our new community hand garden. We’ve been adding to it all week and thought we would share it with all of our families that are at home too. On your daily walk, come by and have a look and even leave a hand or two!

22.01.2022 Footy day is our favorite!

22.01.2022 R U OK? A question that means so much more than meets the eye, three words that could potentially change, impact or save a life. Mental well-being is not something we take lightly, nor is it something to think about just once or twice a year. Our journey as a centre to understanding, acknowledging and supporting holistic wellbeing is on going and something we embed in our culture to revisit every day. We understand that for children wellbeing starts with their circle of s...ecurity and emotional regulation and understanding, which is why we emphasise this so much throughout our program. So, I ask you to take a moment, and truthfully ask yourself are you ok? If the answer is no, that is ok. Reach out to a loved one, you are not alone. #ruok #ruokday #itsokaytonotbeokay

22.01.2022 Another online learning lesson via Zoom for our Kinder children who are learning from home They got creative by using recycled milk cartons to make one of our favourite book characters ELMER! So many learning possibilities, but the focus here was on exploring sustainability

11.01.2022 Celebrating our Early Childhood Educators

10.01.2022 Today we celebrated Daffodil day! The daffodil is recognised internationally as the symbol of hope for all people affected by cancer. Cancer Council chose it as our emblem as the bright yellow colouring heralds the return of spring, representing new life and growth. To Cancer Council, and those affected by cancer, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer free future.... Research is vital to saving lives and finding less harsh cancer treatments. Money raised this Daffodil Day Appeal will help fund some of the brightest researchers in the country who are dedicated to discovering the next cancer breakthroughs. The Daffodil Day Appeal is Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign. It is a day for Australians to come together and donate to help fight cancer. So our children and educators celebrated by creating daffodil arts and crafts and by wearing a dash of yellow Please see our link to our webpage which is open for donations, help us help make a difference. https://www.daffodilday.com.au/fundraiser/emmarichards

08.01.2022 Wominjeka everyone Did you know that next Wednesday September 2nd is Indigenous literacy day? Indigenous Literacy Day is a national celebration of Indigenous culture, stories, language and literacy. Through activities on the day, we focus our attention on the disadvantages experienced in remote communities.... Indigenous Literacy Day also aims to help raise funds to raise literacy levels and improve the lives and opportunities of Indigenous Australians living in remote and isolated regions. So we encourage our community and the rest of Australia to help us raise funds and advocate for more equal access to literacy resources for remote communities. We will be celebrating Indigenous culture through art, stories and activities throughout our service all of next week. We would love you to join in too. Find out more information and donate at the following link: https://www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/indigenous-

08.01.2022 Can you draw a marking in the sand? Today and every day we acknowledge and celebrate Indigenous culture, by diving deep into what makes it so unique and special. "Symbols in sand art" are significant features of the continuous depiction of communication between the Great Spirits of the ancestors and humans. They tell the story of the Dreamtime, which signifies the creation of the Aboriginals as well as their history and culture.... Our children absolutely love learning about Aboriginal culture everyday, so stay tuned and we will regularly share our lessons with you too :)

01.01.2022 Today we are celebrating our amazing, hardworking, passionate and resilient Early Childhood Educators. Happy ECE day to all of the educators out there, but especially to ours, who make our centre feel like a second home. We sure do appreciate everything you do, so let’s celebrate all the wonderful things you all do today, and everyday. Thank you
