Our educational leader Sandy shared about our journey of reconciliation over the past 5 years that has brought us to this point in winning the Goodstart State and National award in Reconciliation. 22.01.2022 Last week we celebrated National Veggie Week throughout our centre which links directly to our Munch and Move program. We played veggie bingo, made vegetarian smoothies, explored vegetables through literacy with books and felt board stories, our preschoolers explored famous artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo who arranged fruit and vegetables to create portraits and explored this during morning and afternoon tea as well as exploring vegetables in their whole form and created their own artworks from this. We shared enjoyment learning about vegetables and the difference between them and fruit along with how vegetables make our bodies grow strong.
