16.01.2022 We are very excited to be working with Gympie Regional Gallery and the amazing Sandra Ross to create some great artworks for an upcoming exhibition called The Collection through a child’s eye. We had Sandra visit us late last year to introduce us to the artwork called Truckload 0401 Range Road - Road Rage by local artist Ian Smith. Sandra led an art class with our then PreKindy group, showing them art techniques such as blending and using the paint brushes. Not long until the exhibition starts which is very exciting! We will share more information as it comes!

04.01.2022 Risky play is increasingly becoming recognised as an important developmental opportunity for young children. Risky play is crucial to a child’s development so it’s important that teachers and parents don’t prevent children from engaging in risky experiences and activities. Some of our kindy kids took to great heights to gain a bird’s eye view of the world before jumping off. Our Senior Toddlers found risk by exploring the back gardens and trees. These types of play episodes build on key life skill benefits such as resilience, confidence, coordination, curiosity and resourcefulness to name a few!
