25.01.2022 So much learning occurred during our World Bee Day Celebration. We had fun dressing up as Bees, sharing songs and stories, planting bee friendly seeds and our preschoolers also had the opportunity to explore and taste fresh honeycomb. What an amazing day to celebrate such an amazing insect that is vitally important for our environment! #plantthreeforbees #beedayau #worldbeeday

You can use your creative kids vouchers(school aged children) to pay for some of the kits available. Very simple to order and the art relief kits have 5 experiences for the children to participate in and can create live with step by step instructions from the artists! As you know the Government announced today that the free childcare package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. 13.01.2022 This week was National Science Week and the theme this year was The Deep Blue: Innovation for the future of our oceans. This saw us engaging in learning experiences exploring the ocean, pollution and water. Through exploring this topic we develop a range of skills and processes such as inquiry, researching and investigating as we also develop an awareness of the impact of human activity on our environment such as the ocean.

Every year a picture book, by an Australian childrens author and illustrator is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes and bookshops around Australia, as part of Australias Library and Information Week. This years story was Chicken Divas by Lucinda Gifford. What a great opportunity for us to share a new picture book by an Australian author.
