20.01.2022 We Got A Cook!!!! Meet our new and highly experienced chef Karamjeet (Preet). We are so excited to have you join our team and look forward to tasting your nourishing and mouth watering meals. Hello to the children and families at Woodend, I am so happy to be here. ... A little bit about me is I have 3 children and have been married for 13 years. I have 55 budgies, 11 chickens and 2 rainbow parrots. I have a huge vegetable garden that I spend many hours caring for as I like to cook fresh and eat fresh food, I never buy precooked foods so my garden has all the vegetables I need to feed my family through all the seasons. My daughter plays domestic and state basketball so much of my free time is spent traveling all over Melbourne to watch her games. I love reading, I leave no cook book unread I enjoy looking at recipes to add to my skills to compliment my hospitality training. I am super organized and like things clean and put in their place. I am very fussy when it comes to cooking as it is important to me that not only does the food taste good but it also has to look good!!! I have a very positive and a ‘Can do’ attitude and I can’t wait to deliver new and exciting cuisine to the children at Goodstart.

From this teacher’s seized the opportunity to extend on children’s knowledge and interest and this is how the life cycle of a butterfly evolved. 12.01.2022 When Baby Arrives Dealing with a new sibling at home can be tough on a 2-year-old. Here in the Toddler room educators have set up a little Nursery room for children to role play. Lots of love, gentleness and care is observed as the children engage in changing dollies diapers, patting dolly to sleep, feeding and reading stories to their doll. Providing children space and time to act out and mimic things they see happening at home helps ease the transition in becoming a big sibling. Design by educator Lauren

12.01.2022 Colours of Autumn Look at this inspirational Autumn art space children in the Pre kinder room can engage with.
