24.01.2022 The Good Tunes Session continues in Brisbane at the new venue next Monday 10 August - Papa Rossi (Italian restaurant) - corner Little Stanley Street and Ernest Street, South Bank. Come early for lovely pasta, pizza and authentic Italian cooking from the head chef Eduardo from Roma. Sheet music provided as usual!

23.01.2022 Brisbane Festival is about to start next week (3 September) and continue for a number of weeks. One of the shows highly recommended is with the amazing Brisbane world music band MZAZA. It's been an absolute pleasure to be a part o...f this very talented and vibrant collection of Brisbane musicians - Benja King, Cristina Campo Di Stan, Gareth Mewesician, Innes Campbell and André Bonetti (also our recording engineer). It's been a 30 year journey since I started replaying the music from the 'old country'. My dad made me do it... since I was age 10. It's sad that he didn't make it to hear the fruits of his 'lavore'. 08.01.2022 Thoroughly recommend this show for Brisbanites... Fly Little Sparrow will be presenting 2 special shows as part of the Brisbane Anywhere Festival. Lisa and Lizzie will be joined by an amazing band - Gareth Mewes (violin), Reuben Johnson bass, Andre Bonetti (percussion) and Samuel De Santi (guitar, bouzouki). They will be doing a selection of songs from Irish singer-songwriters that have influenced their musical journeys including The Cranberries, Glenn Hansard, U2, Sinead O...'Connor, Luka Bloom, Foy Vance, Mic Christopher and Damien Rice. The atmosphere in the Bar FARRIER in Fortitude Valley will be set with candles and a traditional Irish Music session. 07.01.2022 Sorry for the late notice but Good Tunes Session is cancelled for 13 July. The Burrow informed me earlier this evening that due to the current Stage 3 Covid 19 restrictions they cannot accommodate the numbers for our Good Tunes Session. At this stage we will cancel all Good Tunes Sessions until restrictions are further relaxed for The Burrow venue or I find an alternative venue. Apologies again, we are in crazy times.
