20.01.2022 Adding another data point on the growth curve. The 2020 cohort is proving to be very exciting with growth rates up to 743grams per day since birth. Lambs are genomic tested for Eating Quality and increase EBV accuracies. Large management groups that have to perform under strict commercial conditions allows the cream to rise to the top!

The below photo shows a young James Corcoran Snr (right) with the top price ram at 1978 National Poll Dorset Sale with purchaser Mr Leo Storrier of Loughrea Stud, Crookwell. The second photo is Gooramma 34-18 purchased at the 2019 Gooramma Sale by Leo’s son, Geoff, and his son in law and current owner of Loughrea Stud, Shane Anderson. 41 years between photos, but still selecting the same type!! Stay tuned for some exciting news during 2020!!

Extremely strong performances in the recent Bowan Park Lamb Trial, along with spikes in Lambplan data has backed up his impressive phenotype.
