02.01.2022 Covid India Appeal Friends, with folded hands this is sincere appeal to you to help this unprecedented crisis that has befallen India. I lost my mum 2 months ag...o from Covid unrelated cause. I couldn’t even get there for last rites because of all the travel restrictions. Now my motherland is in trouble and I feel it’s our moral responsibility to do the best we can to help. It’s heartbreaking to see health resources being overwhelmed and stretched beyond any imagination. I have heard so many friends, colleagues and teachers dying in the last couple of weeks. And authorities are being forced to create makeshift crematoriums - absolutely gut wrenching! FIN has been involved in fundraising for local causes and helped our local community hospital here. This time we would like to request our friends that we have made over the last 20 years in this town that we now call home. Please come and stand with us to support this grave crisis that has hit our motherland. We are collaborating with SEWA International a registered charity based in Australia. It’s run purely by volunteers and there are no hidden admin costs involved. All the money raised will be purely utilised for Covid relief and all the accounts made available. In a town of 100 thousand people I sincerely hope that we can collect more than 100 K dollars. Please come forward and lend your support to this noble cause.
