25.01.2022 How good is this. The last 10 years of Junior Presidency - from right to left - Shaun Munday, outgoing President, thanks for the last 4 years, Rod Fidler, President for 5 years prior and now introducing the new 2021 Junior President, Craig Thompson. The great thing is that Shaun and Rod are still involved at the club. Their knowledge and experience of Junior and Senior football, on and off the field is priceless.

17.01.2022 Darryl Wright played Junior football at Wilston Grange from 1979 to 1983 and won 3 Best and Fairest trophies during his brilliant but brief career. He was one of the most popular players in the team. The Wright Family donated this award to commemorate the memory of their son. The most prestigious award in the Junior Club, the Darryl Wright Memorial Trophy. Players are nominated by their youth coaches to a team member who demonstrates team spirit, a willingness to play unselfish football, keenness at training and an endeavour to improve their football skills - all special qualities possessed by Darryl. Congratulations to this years 10 nominees.

15.01.2022 Dear Families Over the past number of weeks, AFL clubs across South East Queensland have engaged in a series of meetings to review and discuss the future direction of our competition structure and ultimately improve the AFL experience for all. With considerable changes to the restructure of our governing body (AFL Queensland), we thank the organisation for the consultation and considerations made for the season ahead. As an eventful year comes to a close, we share with our Go...rilla families a series of recommendations leading into the 2021 season. Whilst these are only recommendations at this time, please read through the attachments to support your understanding of the upcoming season. I take this opportunity to again seek EOI's for the positions as Coaches, Managers, Age Coordinators. Please email our secretary at [email protected] by COB 27th November. Kind regards Matthew Morgan Youth Football Coordinator [email protected]

10.01.2022 Its been a huge day for the club. With the Lions v Freo clash being changed to the Gabba early this week, Auskick Coordinator Gayle Munkley got the call - ‘can you facilitate the entire half time Auskick spectacular’? Yes, yes she can and these are just a few of our 150 Auskickers who managed to get a thrill for the weekend and run out onto the Gabba. Well done Gayle and all your club helpers for making this happen for the kids.
