23.01.2022 What a great way to spend a Sunday - watching the Gormy kids play cricket Rovers batted first & made a terrific score of 163. The kids bowled & fielded fantastically with one of our new players Hayden Johnston taking his first wicket Other wicket takers were Corey Heard - 2/7 & Isaac Brown - 3/30. With a big total to chase, we tried hard but came up short making 63 all out. Kade Marsh had another great knock making 24 & Max chipped in with 10. Our new players, Flynn, Hayden & Zoe stepped up brilliantly today & along with our other newbies Ben & Annie we are happy to have them at Gormandale. Seeyou all on Wednesday

07.01.2022 Well done to our Team tonight, great win against Traralgon West, little bit of a nail biter there for a moment but we got there in the end. Not sure of runs as I don't have the scorebook at the moment, will update that later, but good job by the kids :) Don't forget we do it all again tomorrow night :)

01.01.2022 Well done to the U/14's who had their first game of the season last night and started with a win. We went in with only 7 players due to school camps and school commitments, but those kids were amazing and it was great to watch them all. Gormandale - 5/58 K. Marsh - 8 I Brown - 15... L D'Angelo - 4 M Conway - 15 J Membey - 0 A Little - 1 P Tracey - 5 not out K Marsh -1/2 J Membry - 2/4 M Conway - 0/3 I Brown - 2/0 A Little - 3/6 P Tracey - 0/1 Brilliant wicket keeping by Luis D'Angelo :) Great to welcome Max & Paris to Gormandale Juniors and fantastic to see Jaxon Membrey back with Tigers. Well done to all the kids and a huge thanks to Brad and Jack, Gormandale A Graders out here from the UK who helped umpire and score too, much appreciated :)

01.01.2022 Hi and welcome to the new season :) At the moment we have an U/16's and U/14's team and still hoping to get U/12's up and running, just trying to get more players. Its great to see some new junior faces in both teams this year, make sure you make them feel at home :) *****TRAINING**** Training will be held every Tuesday night at 4.30 at the nets behind Lavalla. I know not everyone can always make training due to other sporting commitments & school bus times and thats no w...orries, if you get there thats fantastic if you can't make it we understand. The most important thing is match day, we need you then:) ****U/16's**** U/16's had there first game last night against Traralgon West at JC 2 and we came away with a win - amazing way to start the season. Our score was 2/133 Kade Marsh - 8 Nathan Heard - 83 not out Corey Heard - 7 Isaac Brown - 15 not out Nugget had a sensational innings, well done to him. Due to really bad light or more to the fact, no light at all, we had to call the game off when Traralgon West were into their 20th over. They were 2/69 so we had a comfortable win with Nathan Heard taking 2/10. Ben, Lachie, Hayden, Annie, Flynn, Kade, Max , Bryron and Isaac all had brilliant overs as well. But such a great team effort from all the kids. ****U/14's**** Under 14's will play their first game this Wednesday. I will let you know what ground Wednesday morning. Look forward to seeing you all there Thanks
