06.01.2022 From the Commodore... Dear All, We are planning to start our racing program on Saturday this week.... Due to restrictions things will be a bit different. Change rooms will be closed so please arrive ready for sailing and after sailing change at home. Race times are also changing please be rigged and ready by 12:30 for a 1pm start and off the water by 3pm to 3:30. Race entrance forms will be on the website this week. Please make sure your child is a sailing member of the club, has paid race entrance and has the required insurance before Saturday. However, this will only happen if I can get some commitment from parents to help run the section and help run the day. So far only one person has offered help with running the section this year. This involves attending a committee meeting once a month. Please let me know asap if you are prepared to do this. I need 4 people to help form a committee (post the AGM). On Saturday I will need: 3 people with boat licences who are sailing members or volunteer members of the club 4 boat crew 1 beach volunteer We will make a call on Thursday PM if we are able to run Saturday. We are working on Silverfleet and will let you know these arrangements shortly Thanks David
