24.01.2022 When you enter the Rotto Swim they prompt you to raise money for charity. You don't have to do it, but I thought that I would as I think it will help me get across the Channel. So I have chosen the Act for Kids Charity to support. Act for Kids work to prevent child abuse and neglect. Even if you don't care about me swimming to Rotto, but you do care about helping kids doing it tough to move forwards, please make a donation.

21.01.2022 We have welcomed in 2020 with the inaugural 17 metre Turner family swim handicap at Go Swimming Wanneroo. Won convincingly by Abbey from Lane 1 off go. A dead ...heat for second between Lachy off 3 seconds in Lane 2, Charlie off 4 seconds in Lane 3 and Scott off 4.5 seconds in Lane 4. Good swims considering the kids all have only about 5 years swimming experience each. It seems the extra 40 years of training done by Scott counts for only about one second of speed. See more

21.01.2022 We will be open for lessons from tomorrow as normal. We look forwards to seeing everyone back at the swim school. Please note masks do need to be worn until Friday, and due to limited numbers of people allowed in the swim school, please only arrive on time and wrap n go at the end of your lesson. As of Saturday we are hopefully back to normal.

09.01.2022 Studies have shown that parents and carers can overestimate their children's abilities when it comes to swimming, which leads them to drop out of lessons too soon. Meaning that often children finish lessons before they are proficient swimmers. The average age of children dropping out of formal lessons is around 6 years old. From this age, to finishing primary school at around 12, their skills decline and they are no longer strong swimmers. Hang in there with your child’s swimming, in our programs we believe for pool swimming Dolphins is the minimum level and for Ocean swimming Sharks is the minimum level. #swimming #swimminglessons #learntoswim

01.01.2022 That’s a wrap for our second Go Swimming Subiaco Junior Club Day. We had over 25 swimmers race which was fantastic. The swimmers looked great with awesome clean swimming techniques. Thanks to the coaches Scott, Sam, Aimee and Tess great job!
