21.01.2022 We are excited to welcome Urologist Dr Muhammad Kahloon to our team of specialists. He has visiting rights at several Canberra public and private hospitals. He is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and is actively involved in training registrars and medical students.

17.01.2022 We are excited to welcome Dr John Egan to The Hub! Dr Egan has a wealth of experience being a GP and has recently been locuming throughout Australia after being a long term GP in Goulburn. He is locuming with us while Dr Saeid studies for his exams and will return to us in November to supervise a new Norwegian GP. We can't wait to work with him.

He has an interest in breast surgery, skin lesion excisions, hernia, gall bladder, endoscopy and colonoscopy and can accept all general surgical cases.

She has many years of experience in both the public an private sector, having worked in Goulburn before with Anglicare. She has decided to return to the area. We look forward to having her!

09.01.2022 Welcome to our newest tele-psychiatrist Dr Essam Sarhan. He has extensive experience in Adult Mental Health ( Acute Stress Disorder, Grief, Adjustment Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD,OCD, Depression Spectrum, Bipolar Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia Spectrum) and is an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

04.01.2022 There has been a lot of discussion in the media about the Covid 19 Vaccines. We are now part of the rollout. Below is what you need to know: - There are two brands of vaccine in use in Australia. Both are effective and safe. For adults aged under 50 years either brand may be used, however Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine is preferred over AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. - Medical experts have studied COVID-19 vaccines to make sure they are safe. Most side effects are mild. They may s...tart on the day of vaccination and last for around 1-2 days. As with any vaccine or medicine, there may be rare and/or unknown side effects. - A very rare side effect of blood clotting has been reported in the 4-20 days after the first dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. This is not seen after the second dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine or after any dose of Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine. - Report any side effects to your healthcare provider.
