21.01.2022 Hi everyone, my name is Koda I’m a beautiful 18 month old Shepherd cross. I’m currently in foster care with a family of four, even though I’m great with the kids I’m in care with I would be best suited to a child free home. I am also in foster care with cats/kittens and another large dog. ... I LOVE my foster family especially my foster mum, I follow her everywhere and love to have a big cuddle.. My most favourite things to do are sleep and play tug, all day everyday.. I also LOVE water! Unfortunately up until I was surrendered I haven’t been socialised very well, and I and fear based reactions to people I’m not familiar with. I’ve been doing one on one training whilst in foster care and have proven very clever and responsive, I do however have a very very long way to go! My brilliant trainer advised that this training will be best continued in my forever home so that I can continue to learn alongside my new family. 20.01.2022 Update: Cleo and Pavlova are on hold Hi everyone, our names are Pavlova and Cleo We’re both 13 week old girls and we are the absolute best of friends! We do everything together, sleeping, eating and yes, we even use the litter tray at the same time ... Pavlova is the calico kitten (grey, ginger and white) and Cleo is the torti shell kitten with white, ginger and black fur. Pavlova is such a snuggly girl and she loves sleeping on her foster carers chest. Cleo is so sweet and playful, her favourite game is finding a hair tie and then yelling out to her foster carer to show her that she found it again! They both have the loudest purrs and play non stop with each other. Pavlova and Cleo are bonded and will cry for one another if they can’t find each other. 12.01.2022 Our first kittens of this years kitten season... We know this video of these babies is super cute, but there is nothing cute about kitten season! It’s soooo important to desex your cats and kittens. Desexing your pets is the single biggest way to deal with the pet overpopulation crisis we are dealing with in our country. Desexing is a crucial part of being a responsible pet owner. Also, if there are stray cats you’re feeding, part of caring for them is getting them desexed! ...Over the next few months, rescues, pounds and shelters will be inundated with requests from people in the community whose cat has had an accidental litter, or they’ve found kittens outside somewhere. These poor cats will be forced to give birth outside, in the heat where their babies are at risk of sickness, injury and illness. Again, desexing would prevent all of this suffering from happening. If you love kittens, and want to make a difference in animals lives, consider becoming a foster carer! 05.01.2022 Hello everyone, this is one of our gorgeous fosters Bella Bella was surrendered into our care a few months ago after her owner passed away and no one in the family could care for her. Bella has been quite unwell since she has come into our care, and has been battling recurrent urine infections which has required lots of testing, medications and special food. Just when we thought Bella was on the mend, her health has taken another turn and she now needs to be admitted to ou...r amazing vets for a whole day of really thorough tests and assessments. We always strive to make sure our animals receive the best care, but this comes at quite a cost. After Bella’s day at the vets tomorrow, her vet bill will total over $900. If anyone is in a position to donate some money to help us cover these costs, we would be so grateful. 02.01.2022 BELLA UPDATE After spending a whole day at the vets a few weeks ago, the vets found multiple large kidney stones and made the call that Bella would require surgery. We decided to book the surgery in ASAP so that she wasn’t in pain and discomfort any longer. Bella had her surgery a few days ago to have the kidney stones removed, and look how much happier she is already!!!! All four of these beautiful girls have been available for adoption for a few months and we haven’t had a single application for any of them ... 01.01.2022 Hi everyone, my name is Koda I’m a beautiful 18 month old female Shepherd cross. I’m currently in foster care with a family of four, even though I’m great with the kids I’m in care with I would be best suited to a child free home. I am also in foster care with cats/kittens and another large dog. ... I LOVE my foster family especially my foster mum, I follow her everywhere and love to have a big cuddle.. My most favourite things to do are sleep and play tug, all day everyday.. I also LOVE water! Unfortunately up until I was surrendered I haven’t been socialised very well, and I and fear based reactions to people I’m not familiar with. I’ve been doing one on one training whilst in foster care and have proven very clever and responsive, I do however have a very very long way to go! My brilliant trainer advised that this training will be best continued in my forever home so that I can continue to learn alongside my new family. I will need on going training to help me with my fear of people, it’ll always be sometime I’ll need focusing and attention on and I will require my forever home to be understanding and confident with helping me over come these fears.
