25.01.2022 Once again, measures to help limit the potential spread of Covid-19 are now being enforced in Perth. We would like to inform our clients that we are still open our regular hours, but will be enforcing rules and operational adjustments to maintain social distancing and minimise the risk of any spread of disease. We respectfully request all of our clients abide by the points below: ... 1) As mandated by the WA state government, face masks must be worn by all attending the practice. 2) One person per pet only. When you arrive at our practice, please notify us via phone or visual contact. We respectfully request that you wait outside, and we have appropriately spaced seating set up as seen in the image attached. 3) When collecting medicines or pet food products, please contact us via phone and our staff deliver the product directly to your vehicle. Payment can be made in your vehicle with our EFTPOS machine, and we encourage all payments to be processed in this fashion. We would prefer no cash payments for now. 4) Telemedicine appointments: There may be some situations where appropriate treatment can be provided after a phone discussion with our vets. If you would prefer this option, please inform our nurses and we will discuss this form of appointment. We thank you for your patience during this extremely challenging period. We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available. Please stay safe, and stay healthy. 18.01.2022 Meet Watkins He is a gorgeous chocolate Labrador who likes to chew sticks. Watkins owners noticed a bad smell coming from his mouth one day, and Dr. Nick diagnosed a rotten tooth. To everyones surprise the cause of the rotten tooth was actually a piece of stick that had been jammed up into the tooth root! ... 15.01.2022 Hello! My name is Shadow, and I am looking for my forever home. I was found by some lovely people who took me to GoVets Greenwood. Unfortunately I did not have a microchip and so the staff at GoVets could not find where I came from. I am really sweet and love to be given attention and pets, especially cheek scratches! I am confident... and not afraid to explore the clinic. I am still unsure about other animals, but with some patience and slow introductions I may just fit in. 05.01.2022 With the spread of COVID-19 and the associated public health risks, GoVets Greenwood would like to assure our clients that we will be doing everything in our power to help limit the spread of the disease. GoVets Greenwood is still open for now, but we respectfully ask all of our clients to exercise good hygiene whilst in our premises. This will include hand sanitising on arrival and departure from the practice (dispensers provided at the front desk). If you are unable to at...tend the clinic and would prefer a telephone consultation, we will be willing to assist with this request. If you are at risk for infection, or are experiencing symptoms, we respectfully request that you do not attend the clinic in person, and call us to organise alternative arrangements to have your pet seen. We are a spacious, custom built, modern, small animal veterinary hospital with all of the standard toys and equipment to be expected in a contemporary vet clinic. We strive to practice a high level of veterinary medicine, but also encourage flexibility in our approach for our staff and clients to ensure we get good results for our patients. 03.01.2022 This is Chewie, one of the sweetest little puppies youll ever meet. Unfortunately Chewie wasnt feeling well earlier this week and presented to Dr Nick for a check up. After a physical examination, Chewie was diagnosed with puppy strangles. This is a fairly uncommon auto-immune disorder that causes facial/muzzle swelling, lymph node enlargement and ear inflammation.
