06.01.2022 Hi there for those of you who are new around here, Im Stacie and I make all the pretty things at Goya. I love helping startups get off the ground and bring their vision to life. I specialise in branding, website and packaging design. We are a husband and wife duo... I do design, Ryan does film, and this is our little man Finny, I think were a pretty great team Photo by the ever so lovely @tanyagrayphotography

06.01.2022 We had a lovely break down south, soaking up the outdoors. It was our 4th attempt at holidaying with Finny and would have been our last if it didnt go well. Our previous three trips away have been a DISASTER! Before we gave birth I thought we would be jet setting off everywhere, but that was not the case, let me explain. #1 We decided to go up away with a 6 month old, in a (small) camper-van emphasis on small, to the north of WA in the middle of summer, I know right what we...re we thinking. We thought we could drive 5-6 hours a day with a baby, nope. We thought we could go on boat trips, too windy. Go to the beach, too hot. Chill and watch movies in his naps, sure as long as the subtitles are on and you didnt make a sound. It was that bad me and Finny FLEW HOME and Ryan drove the rest of the way alone ha #2 We went away with family, had a compact easy fold portacot, did he sleep?! Nope. #3 Away with friends, borrowed a new comfier portacot, not only did he not sleep, but he cried for 10hours straight, we became those parents walking the streets at midnight @sophiecottrell and @brittanyrichmond we are still so very sorry #4 This time around, Ive bought a full-sized (not compact at all) portacot, booked an Airbnb, in one easy location close to home. And we have SUCCESS there is hope for holidays yet.
