22.01.2022 The answer is always NO Next time you're feeling unwell, please stay at home. Each and every Queenslander has an important role to play in taking personal responsibility and stopping the spread of germs. Be a champ and stay home if you're sick

15.01.2022 Our COVID-19 fever clinics are here for the community to get tested for coronavirus. Children requiring a COVID-19 swab can go to any of our fever clinics. But ...if they need healthcare or require treatment, children should be taken to The Prince Charles Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Caboolture Hospital or Queensland Children's Hospital. For more information, see the link in the comments.

09.01.2022 BREAKING: Here's our back to school plan for Queensland students. Students in Kindy, Prep, Year 1, Year 11 and Year 12 will return to school on May 11, while s...tudents in Years 2 to 10 will continue remote learning at home. We will review the situation on May 15, with the goal to return the remaining students on May 25 if low COVID-19 transmission rates continue. Children of essential workers and vulnerable children are still able to attend school. A sensible and gradual return is only possible because of Queensland’s success in slowing the spread of COVID-19. Compare our efforts to what has happened in other parts of the world and Queenslanders should feel very proud. Keep up the good work! #coronavirus

08.01.2022 Parents are often concerned about the discomfort associated with Covid testing and may be reluctant to have their kids tested. We know that children with Covid can often present with very mild symptoms so even those with mild cold and flu symptoms should be tested. This is a great video that explains the process of Covid testing in Children.

We want you to know that ho...spitals, child health clinics and medical practices are safe, open and ready to provide the best care for your child. #InThisTogether

05.01.2022 Everyone in Queensland, including children, should get tested for COVID-19 if they show any symptoms no matter how mild. The most common symptoms are: Fev...er Cough Sore throat Shortness of breath Runny nose Fatigue As restrictions ease across Queensland, the risk of COVID-19 cases happening in the Queensland community increases, so we actually need more people to get tested for COVID-19. So, if anyone in your family is sick with any COVID-19 symptoms, you should get them tested straight away.

02.01.2022 Does your child have a 4th birthday coming up? Don't forget their four-year immunisations will also be due. To provide the best protection, every vaccina...tion should happen on its due date so put it in the diary now! Download the VacciDate app (link in comments ) to track your family vaccinations.

01.01.2022 The current advice from Queensland Health is for anyone with COVID-19 symptoms to get tested. So if your child has ANY symptoms at all, they should get tested. ...Even if symptoms are mild, get tested. Symptoms can include cough, sore throat, fever, trouble breathing, fatigue or a runny nose. If your friends, family, colleagues or neighbours have any symptoms tell them to get tested. Visit the link in comments for more As restrictions ease, it’s more important than ever to get tested for COVID-19. #InThisTogether
