25.01.2022 Well folks, the end of another hectic week draws near. We were hoping to be posting about all of the new stuff that we have uploaded to the site this week but, well, you know how it goes. Problems with freight, problems with invoicing you name it, we have had it this week. So you will all just have to wait till next week for us to upload the shipments that have come in this week - Malossi and Dellorto of course plus circa $8k worth of gear for Vespa, Piaggio, Aprilia, Ducati... etc out if Italy, $5K worth of old Vespa and Lambretta goodies from our old friends at MecEur plus a few odds and sods like tyres from Mitas Next week we will see another Malossi / Dellorto order coming in plus a decent sized (around $5K we think) order from SIP Till then ride safely Barry

22.01.2022 It's been a crazy few months here at GPS with no spare time for FB posts. But with the Italians taking the month off to celebrate Pasta Day or whatever they do every August there has been a little bit of spare time to catch up on enquiries. We had a customer looking for a piston for a first model Ape that was in his workshop and he was pretty sure it is the same as the first Vespa 125 model. A cold and wintry Central Victorian evening in front of the fire was a ideal time to ...break out one of the most useful tools in our arsenal - the Elenco Generale Ricambi Piaggio. Known to us as the Bible or more correctly the Piaggio Master Catalogue these were issued every 10 years or thereabouts and list all parts avl at that time, supercessions and deleted parts. We think this is the first edition and lists parts for models from the get go of Vespa production through to the early 1960s. True to form it held the answer and the new piston is on it's way to giving an old work horse a new life! Cheers. See more

21.01.2022 Yes, yes, we know. It has been a long time between updates. Business in the "Covid normal" that we are enjoying in much of Australia is brisk to say the least which doesn't leave much time for FB and other such luxuries. Today we found a few spare minutes to upload a couple of recent shipments to the website. More than $20K of Malossi, Dellorto, Piaggio and many other parts and accessories which landed from Italy in the last week or so. We have one more Malossi / Dellorto shipment due before the Italians shut down for 2 weeks. Who knows, we might take a little break too - we sure as heck deserve it!

20.01.2022 As we ride on towards Summer the Covid madness continues here at GPS Imports. When Victoria went into lockdown we didn't know if we would survive till the end of the month let alone actually see the increase in business that we have and that is all thanks to you, our fabulous customers. This week saw the arrival of a couple of large shipments, one our usual Malossi / Dell'orto mixed shipment and the other our first direct from RMS in quite a few years. These have now been loa...ded up to our website at gpsimports.com.au Next week we will see 3 shipments in, yet another Malossi / Dellorto, a large shipment of Vespa and Lambretta parts from our friends at MecEur and last but not least our first SIP shipment since the pandemic began. In total this will make over $40K worth of parts at landed cost arriving within a 10 day period and while we are still seeing some crazy high freight prices GPS Imports will continue to do everything we can to try to keep stock levels high and prices as low as we can manage to keep you on the road and/or track! For those of you around Australia enjoy your riding and remember to keep it rubber side down. For our customers in Melbourne we trust that the 25km limit has made life a little more bearable and we hope to see and hear you burning up the roads of regional Vic soon.

18.01.2022 Well folks it seems that it is nothing but bad news these days and here at GPS the Bad News (drop)Bears keep, well, dropping!. We have had a pretty major technical glitch at our end today which means that we have to go manual for part of our processing for a while. This might mean slight delays and you might even get a phone call from our sales team asking you to verify information or payment details. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience, we will continue to do our best to get orders out same day and we ask for your understanding if we can't

17.01.2022 Piaggio pallets can only mean one thing - another big order in from Italy, our first since the PastaDay August shutdown, has arrived and been loaded to the site. We have once again been hit with an insanely high freight charge due to Covid and once again we have absorbed some of it but prices have risen on some items. We will continue to do the hard yards to try to give our customers access to the parts they need to stay on the road. Many other importers in our industry have ...changed to Sea freight for everything and are quoting 12 week waiting times, It is difficult to manage but we will keep on doing our best to keep stock at reasonable levels. We have also seen a large Malossi / Dell'orto shipment which is also now live at gpsimports.com.au Next up we have a shipment of Vespa and Lambretta parts from our friends at MecEur and hopefully our first SIP shipment for quite a few months if the budget stretches to it and the Gods of freight smile upon us

14.01.2022 Good afternoon folks, I know, once again it's been a long time between updates. We have been crazy busy over the last, well, year or so and it isn't showing any signs of letting up which as I have mused before doesn't leave a lot of time for the socials! I types up a great big long and detailed post to go with the image and then with one wrong push of the button it was gone! Way too tired to do it all again so i'll just say that new shipments from Malossi / Dell'orto, Dayco, ...Michelin and a few other bits and bobs were loaded up to the site today Next week we are hoping to see a largish shipment of Vespa, Piaggio, Lambretta and other goodies from Italy, another from our friends at MecEur plus yet another Malossi / Dell'orto combined shipment. That's all from GPS HQ, time for a bex and a lie down. Keep it rubber side down and may all of your oil seals hold oil as God and Innocenti intended

11.01.2022 Well folks, to say it is all happening here at GPS Imports would be an understatement! Yesterday we shipped out 27 parcels which we think is a daily record. A year or so back 10 was a good day, 15 was great and anything near 20 was really pushing the limits of what we could do. So a big thankyou to all of our loyal customers. That's you guys BTW! We thought about celebrating with an image of the famous Ferrari F1 #27 but Aussie Moto GP champion Casey Stoner seems far more app...ropriate! But we didn't stop there. Over the last fortnight we have landed well over $50K worth of new stock which is now loaded up and ready to buy at gpsimports.com.au Parts and accessories from the likes of Malossi, Dell'orto, RMS, SIP, MecEur etc etc. Lots of stuff for old Vespa and Lambretta and the standard of some of the parts coming out for these old bikes is enough to bring this old Lambrettista close to tears. Enjoy! As a footnote please note that all of this bedlam has come at a cost and we have not been able to answer emails, phone messages etc as quick as we would like. So if we have missed you we apologise and ask you to drop us a gentle reminder

09.01.2022 While we wait for our next mega order to arrive from Italy with another $10K plus worth of goodies from Piaggio, FA Italia, Bosatta, Cuppini and many more suppliers we have been receiving our usual weekly-ish Malossi / Dell'orto combined orders which are loaded up to the website gpsimports.com.au as they come in. With Malossi still able to give us good freight pricing on FEDEX shipments we have been able to keep price rises to a minimum and quite a few customers have taken ad...vantage of this to special order high value but cumbersome Malossi parts like these VR-One engine cases for Vespa PX. Remember GPS Imports are the official Malossi importer for Australia so if it is available from Malossi we can get it. We shipped a couple of these VR-Ones to Qld last month and have done a heap of similar items since the pandemic started. So if you are looking for Malossi parts and you don't see them on our site simply drop us an email via the website and we will get you a P and A. We have live insight into the Bologna warehouse so we can confirm stock in Italy and provide you with a fixed quote delivered to your door so there will be no nasty surprises. Give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised by the price and the quick turnaround times (normally 10 > 14 days from Italy to you depending on order cycle). So go on, what are you waiting for!
