Due to the amazing and positive feedback we have received from our posts combined with the request for more pics we have decided to post additional photos for all to enjoy.... Take a look behind the scenes at just some of the amazing people who attended and assisted us with the Free Community Christmas Luncheon. A huge shout out and heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and everyone involved, as none of this would be possible without the vast army of volunteers who all assisted us in some way with their invaluable contributions ensuring the day was done in excellence. Here are just some of the many, many pics that will give you a glimpse of the vast array of people all joining together in a truly awesome display of community spirit. In excess of 400 people attended on the day. Some travelled from as far away as Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Katanning. Kojonup, Mt Barker, Denmark, Walpole etc and even Perth just to join the Albany community and it's neighbouring regions to celebrate Christmas. Additionally, there were travellers from NSW, Melbourne and Adelaide along with international visitors from Spain, England and Ireland who all came together and celebrated with the people of Albany on Christmas Day. Last year was such a resounding success that amazed all of us and already, over the past six month we have been very busy organising and preparing for this year’s function. However, without the kindness, the support and the generosity of the community and the business sectors, combined with the many amazing people who have have all assisted us in some way; we could not have be...en able to provide such an amazing community spirit to the event on the day. For that we say a heartfelt Thank you. In excess of 400 people attended last year on Christmas Day to enjoy a comprehensive buffet style all you can eat Free Christmas Luncheon. Without a doubt, the Albany community and the region are among the finest in the nation and we appreciate all that you do to assist us. FREE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON After many, many months of planning and preparation, the 2018 FREE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON was a resounding success and exceeded all our expectations! People from across the community, region, state, nation and overseas attended and enjoyed the special day.... Without a doubt the community of Albany is among the finest in the nation. None of this would have been possible without the awesome support of so many people who rallied behind us to assist with the event. To all the generous businesses and organisations, the amazing supporters, the incredible volunteers and the wonderful people who all came together to assist and/or attend on Christmas Day, we send a very big shout out to each and every one of you. With a heart of appreciation and sincere gratitude we say THANK YOU to everyone who encouraged, supported and assisted us in some way. There are far too many to name individually. This ad is our way of showing you all that your kindness and support did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. 17.01.2022 AURORA IMPACT ON SOCIETY! 2019 Free Community Christmas Luncheon I believe as individuals we have a responsibility to make our community a better place for all to live.... The impact and influence of the 2019 Free Community Christmas Luncheon was truly amazing and without a doubt the very best we have ever hosted. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion we have for our work, and to inspire our volunteers and business sectors. The only limit to a person’s impact is their imagination and commitment. None of this would be possible without the support, kindness and generosity of many people. A big shout out to Aurora Magazine and it’s Editor/Publisher Amanda Cruze and Journalist Adam Morris for their amazing leading story coverage of this years Free Community Christmas Luncheon. 10.01.2022 Hello Commencing this Sunday 9th February 2020 we will be hosting an International Guest who will be ministering with us for a week - Dr. Don & Donna Treadway from Tulsa USA. Dr. Tredway is an obstetrician/ gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist (retired Captain Medical Corps, US Navy) who has been active in medical education and research with faculty appointments at multiple Universities in addition to being Chairman of the department of Ob/Gyn at Oral Roberts Univers...ity, the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical College, and King Fahd National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After 30+ years of clinical practice (gynecology, reproductive, endocrinology and infertility), Dr. Tredway retired the summer of 2009 after 9 years as Vice President and Global Therapeutic Head of a Clinical Development Unit for a major pharmaceutical firm. Professionally he continues part time in a consulting capacity for industry and teaching as a college Professor of Human Physiology and Anatomy at Tulsa Community College. Donna graduated from Presbyterian St Luke’s School of Nursing in Chicago, IL with an RN degree. She ministers in personal counseling and also in public ministry with her husband. Donna is also on staff in the College of Counseling and Health Care for the annual Medical Discipleship Training School at the University of the Nations, Kailua-Kona,Hawaii. In addition to their medical experience, Dr. and Mrs. Tredway were also in full time mission work with Youth with a Mission in Southeast Asia. Dr. Tredway was ordained by Melodyland Christian Center, Anaheim, California in 1995 for his Christian service. This occurred after Dr. Tredway was healed by God of a serious back condition in 1977 while in the Navy. This healing changed his life. In addition to their medical work and counseling, Dr. and Mrs. Tredway teach and share their faith internationally (Resurrection Ministries, Inc) in YWAM schools and with various Christian churches and organizations. As a physician and nurse they have seen the healing power of God manifest through prayer in medical practice and in evangelistic services (Resurrection Ministries, Inc). The presence of God is expected as the Name of Jesus is proclaimed. We would truly love to have you join with us in these historic meetings. Love and prayers Pastor Steve & Karen Marshall

It was an absolute thrill, honour and privilege to be featured on GWN7 main news bullion which is broadcasted statewide here in Western Australia.... Not only was the Free Community Lunchron a resounding success and the best in the 45 years we have hosted such an event; but in excess of 450 people attended on the day and there were several international visitors, but also several struggling families travelling many, many hours to join the community of Albany to celebrate together as one amazing family on Christmas Day. Without a doubt the community, the business sector and the people of Albany and surrounding regions are the finest, most unselfish and amazing people in our nation.
