23.01.2022 Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow down at Bellingen- pasture-raised pork, chicken broth, chicken soup, chicken eggs and even some duck eggs.
23.01.2022 Getting some work done on our second chicken caravan. It has only taken us about 2.5 years so far and we may even have it finished before 3yrs. This caravan will be able to hold about 300 chickens so hopefully soon we will be having more eggs for everyone to purchase. #eggs #chickens

14.01.2022 The last couple of days we have been working on clearing out our front paddocks that have a lot of dead wood lying around. The bigger wood is being chopped up and going into our firewood shed while the smaller sticks are going to turn into a rather big bonfire. #fire #bonfire
14.01.2022 We now have 4 baby goats, 1 girl (Rebecca) and 3 boys ( Teddy, Timothy and Theodore). Thankfully they are all healthy and strong and are very cute.
11.01.2022 Now that the weather is warming up and the days are longer it means that our Muscovy ducks are all starting to hatch their nests. While we do provide a nesting box for the ducks with plenty of hay and privacy quite a few ducks have decided to set their nests elsewhere. One mother laid her eggs right next to the stairs up to our house. Another one went right under the house and laid her nest there while yet another duck made her nest in our garlic patch. Regardless of their location they seem to all have had great success with their brooding. 29 ducklings have hatched so far! With still more to come

09.01.2022 I think the goats are getting rather excited by the newest building on the farm. They are all due to have their babies soon and they need a permanent shelter now. It is going to be a two storey shelter with a small yard around it. They will also be a small milking stand for the goats. #goats #goat
09.01.2022 The end result of all our hard work- an amazing bonfire. I lit it last night and we even cooked some damper in the coals. Definitely a good reward for all our hard work.

08.01.2022 As it gets closeer to Christmas it is time to start thinking about what your'e going to have for Christmas lunch and what better then a locally raised, free-range whole turkey or nitrate-free ham. All our animals are rotated regularly through our chemical-free pastures and fed the highest quality organic feed. They enjoy fresh air and sunshine 24/7 and delight in living their 'best' life. We are taking orders now with hams available from Late November and turkeys available... fresh the week before Christmas. Turkeys are $25/kg are weigh between 2-4kgs. Boneless Nitrate- Free Hams are $25/kg and are 2-3kgs. Delivery to Yamba, Greater Lismore, Greater Casino and surrounding areas. 04.01.2022 Our baby chicks and goats being introduced to each other. We extended the yard for our goats so they have a larger area to roam as well as having another shelter. They seem to love it. #goat #chickens
04.01.2022 Our baby donkey is getting big and strong. He has become a bit more independent from Mum but still likes hanging around the herd. He will often do big circles around the herd working off energy while mum keeps a close eye on him. #donkeys #babydonkey

01.01.2022 We now have two sets of donkeys roaming around our farm. They are to provide a very vital service- predator protection from the wild dogs and foxes that like to bother our chickens. The first photo is George (lighter donkey) and Jenna. The second photo is Jasmine (looking at camera) and Joseph.
