17.01.2022 From the experience on mine sites and interacting with operators of dozers and excavators, I have noticed that when using High Precision GPS Guidance there has always been a need for the following scenarios: 1)To know what RL they are working on or how far they need to dig or push for a certain RL. 2)With pit floor or dump design maintenance, how far the distance from the dozer blade edge or digger bucket gum\teeth it is to the toe or crest of the mine design.... 3)Making flat pad RL's and ad hoc Ramps (eg 10%) if a design was not available. 4)Using a light vehicle with High Precision GPS Guidance system to do an actual to design level plan comparison for mine progression on pit floors, haul roads and dumps while driving and inspecting areas.
