24.01.2022 Greece and its Islands have some spectacular churches and due to the unique architecture of the region these are very different to mainland Europe. A few notable churches that can be found on greek islands are Agios Spyridonas on Santorini, Agia Paraportiani on Mykonos, The Seven Martyrs on Sifnos and Agia Sofia on Kythira which is one of the closet islands to the mainland. Would you rate any others that aren't mentioned? We want to hear about your church experience.

24.01.2022 This may have been mentioned and I will most likely touch on it again. The transfer from Halong Bay to and from the destinations is very important. The reason this is being rehashed is due to the fact that we have had first hand dramas with less then satisfactory transfers and with the drive being between 2 and 4 hours it needs to be comfortable and stress free.... Have you ever had bad travel experience?

23.01.2022 Paris!!!! This City was not what I expected, in saying that I am not sure what I expected. I think it may have been white faced mimes and skunks with black paint on their back! In all seriousness Paris is amazing, the Eiffel Tower, the fresh pastries, the small boats sailing around and the feeling that romance should follow you at every turn. 23.01.2022 Santorini... Not sure I need to say anything about this island, it can be found at the top of every bucket list and most likely has the word Sunset succeeding it. Hike from Fira to Oia to view some spectacular vistas of this caldera, this can take between 2 and 5 hours. This oasis was formed by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC.... For a more leisurely afternoon you can take some time to breath in the same vistas over a glass of wine at one of the numerous wineries such as @santo_wines or @vassaltisvineyards

21.01.2022 #Mykonos is known for its summer #party atmosphere Greece's answer to #Ibiza, so may not be everyone's cup of tea. Although it is still worth exploring during the day and getting outside the main town. taking in the maze of walk ways is at the top of the must do list with its blue doors and white walls it is what we all picture as an iconic Greek sight.... 21.01.2022 I am sure I have spoke about the Hanoi traffic previously. If I haven't then... for the record it is nuts, red lights don't mean a thing, yellow lights mean even less and if you are walking across the street don't move too quick and don't move too slow. The streets are a bit of a dance if you stop and have a coffee and just watch for a while you will see a methodology that just works, people come and go and no one seems to get hurt, upset of even remotely stressed.... I admire the way it works and would love to hear from you if you have had to negotiate these roads previously. The Vietnamese have become some of my favourite people, they just get n with it in every case. 20.01.2022 Greece is one of a kind with over 6000 islands in it jurisdiction. The Greek #ferries are a great way to get around the #Greek Islands and make the most of your time in the Aegean. Keep in mind the these schedules can change very close to departure so give yourself flexibility. What is your dream #Greece holiday/island? 18.01.2022 The style of travel from Hanoi to the port is something people overlook, a bus direct to and from Hanoi can be easy enough but times range from 4 hours to 2. The other option would private transfers which are possible to arrange and in regards to the experience not expensive. I have had a family transfer from Halong Bay to Nihn Binh, this is a great idea as traveling in one direction is always a great idea.... Contact @grand.experiences with any questions.

14.01.2022 When in Hanoi it is suggested that you visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh. Learning about this man and understanding the view the nation has of him is vital to understanding the people of Vietnam. From the outside the so called Vietnam War was to get a communist out of power but from the Vietnamese point of view the "American War" was about liberation.... After a thousand years of Chinese occupation and the more recent occupation of the French this country was ready to stand on its own and Ho Chi Minh Facilitated that. Although he had his critics it is clear that the north of the country reveres him as great. Ho Chi Minh is referred to as Uncle Ho out of respect.

13.01.2022 Tran Quoc Pagoda is a great place to explore during your stay in Hanoi, it is a short grab trip north of the old quarter. I would say too far to walk but if you are keen pack a lunch. This pagoda has a lot to offer the cultural tourist, showcase Buddhist history and artefacts, you will also find a small museum that contains relics from hundreds to thousands of years old. The pagoda is free to enter but dress modestly out of respect.

13.01.2022 Navagio Beach is found on the Ionian Island of Zakynthos. This #beautiful cove is often referred too as smugglers cove. The picturesque landscape, limestone gravel beach, and sky blue water is an Instagrammers dream. Have you seen any spectacular shipwrecks?

13.01.2022 Interlarken, Switzerland. I have been fortunate to send a Mother and Daughter duo to Europe and they opened my eyes to paragliding in Interlarken. This is very high on my bucket list, I have a problem with heights but it wouldn't stop me. 12.01.2022 The Greece archipelago is a uniquely beautiful place in the the world and one of the best ways to experience this region is via cruise. There are several major cruise lines that service this area such as MSC and Norwegian. The way that got me most excited was a cabin or a birth on a yacht, please tell me someone has done this...... Can anyone share with us their experience on a yacht in any location around the world? Otherwise if you have done this in Greece don't hold back.

07.01.2022 The greek people are largely Christian in belief and live in close family units. It is common for women to work in the same capacity as men in both rural and urban settings. With the warm and welcoming nature you shouldn't be suprised if you find yourself invited in for a banquet and just remember don't offer to pay as does may insult the host. ... 05.01.2022 Coffee is a must when traveling, who am I kidding... Coffee is second only to air and breathing. The Greeks love their coffee and are known for growing some of the best. Where is your favorite coffee from?

05.01.2022 In Hanoi there is just too much city to explore, day trips are going to be any ones friend to ensure you don't miss any part of this city. One location that a tour won't take due to new rules is the infamous train street. In November 2019 the government has said you are not allowed to walk along the track. If you head over there and go to the northern end of the track entrance you will find an official gentleman sitting by a barricade waving his finger and shaking his head.... There are two tips, from what I discovered you can enter from the south with little intervention but a sure fire way to get in with no drama is to keep and eye out for one of the merchants that live on the tracks and they will lead you in. In Australia we think we know coffee, I would argue that just like me its more about quantity over Quality, here's looking at you @tara_armbruster Back to the topic at hand, in Hanoi and all cities and towns across Vietnam you will find 100's of thousands of locations selling coffee. Ca Phe Den or Ca Phe Sua as they would say and this is unique.... This dark roast over extracted syrupy substance that would get even the biggest consumer of coffee up and going is rich and smoking, paired with "sua" milk but not just any milk, condensed milk its just a perfectly balanced drink to sit and watch a million sccoters just stream by in a beepy jumble of colours and noises. Have you had Vietnamese coffee? Where is your local? I have been out of the country for a while now but @zarraffas_coffee in Tweed City was my daily and now with the absence of those great Baristas it is the local in Hanoi.

03.01.2022 The Hanoi walking street is well known in many circles and has a large number of accommodation venues all along it and within several streets of it. From experience I don't believe it has much too offer, if you are interested in partying with the tourist and pay more for everything you eat and drink the it is the place for you. My thought would be to visit, walk through and make your own decision. If you are keen for familiar food or even just some people you can speak to the...n there will be something for you here. In saying that expect a crowd and only enough personal space to turn on the spot. 03.01.2022 Ha Long Bay has some peaceful places in amongst the limestone cliffs and the included activities in your cruise will allow you to get away from the boat. The two activities that showcase the Ha Long Bay area the best is the Bamboo boat ride through the caves and Kayaking these are included in most if not all the tours you can find. The feeling when you are at water level and there are no engines to be heard is one of peace and being centred.... Are there any places in the world that you have truly just sat and felt you could centre yourself?
