Stay safe Check In & Chat - A free phone chat service to help you stay connected Feeling lonely? Want to connect with someone over the phone for a regular chat? Got a phone? Then you are not alone. As we all stay home and socially distance to prevent the spread of COVID-19, many of us could begin feel isolated and lonely. That is where the Check In and Chat service comes in. This services aims to ensure that everybody remains connected through tough times. Check In & Chat is a free one-on-one phone chat service, where you’ll be paired with a friendly staff member for a regular chat at a scheduled time and day. The service operates on weekdays, between 9am 5pm and is open to all ages. Staff can also help direct you to other resources and organisations for support, including crisis support, counselling, mental health services and family support. With multilingual staff, the service is also available in languages other than English including Punjabi, Hindi, Mandarin, Tamil, Tigrinya, Amharic, Gujarati, Konkani and Spanish. Further languages are also supported through TIS National translating and interpreting service on 131 450. 18.01.2022 Hi All, A friendly reminder that our Term 2 playgroup sessions has commenced! Our sessions are running every Monday and Thursday from 9:30am - 11:30am (excluding Queens Birthday Public Holiday).... Any trials who have not attended their session by next Thursday (29th April) will automatically forfeit their spot to the next in line on the waitlist. If you have enrolled and are unable to attend or wish to turnover your spot to someone on the waitlist, please let me know. We look forward to seeing you and your children in the coming days :)

We have created a closed Facebook group where we will all be able to interact with one another, upload photo's, keep everyone updated with your daily activities and general wellbeing while we are all self isolating. 07.01.2022 In light of recent decisions made by Wyndham City Council and our State Parliament it is with great regret that Grasshoppers Playgroup will be closed effective immediately. While is has been a very hard decision to make, the health and safety of our members and their families are our main priority. We thank you all for your understanding and we will keep you up to date as to when we will be back up and running again, once everything calms down!

02.01.2022 Hi Grasshoppers, We hope you are all well and enjoying the gradual easing of restrictions. It's amazing how a quick visit to see you family and friends can recharge the batteries An update to advise that we have made contact with Wyndham City Council and they are currently working on a plan to reboot the community programs at the centre.... Whilst it still might be a little while before we can all meet again, we will keep you informed with any updates that come our way. When our sessions are up and running again, it will be our aim to provide you and your children with a safe place to laugh, learn and play
